Excellent food, service and ambiance. According to the staff the menu changes weekly. Staff was happy to describe the dishes... and the food we selected was delicious. I did not give it 5 stars as it has no signage and I was unable to end my night with anespresso martini - the machine apparently was broken. Overall, I recommend this little gem of a restaurant. Friends brought us to the Fiddlehead Bistro, being we are from out of town. So glad they did! The staff are lively, energetic,... and quick to offer suggestions when you can't choose (and there is much from which to choose). Slight warning: if an item ismarked as being spicy, it is! The kitchen staff, from what we were told like things HOT, but in a good way. The spice enhancesthe flavors, but stays with you. Just giving fair warning! House cocktails are nicely done, atmosphere is casual, but "cozy". We ate indoors because of the weather, but there is an outside space. All in all, a really great place to finish a great day ofvisiting the Adirondacks, Lake Placid, Lake Saranac, and whoever you know in the area! Read more

Hands down the best meal we had in Saranac. The restaurant has excellent ambience and fantastic service, the wine list is good,... but the food was absolutely incredible. Would absolutely recommend it. Read more
Service was satisfactory . Menu was eclectic and overdone with cute flourishes. But we found everything overpriced for the... portions served. No gluten free crackers or bread. Ratatouille skimpy, and cheeseplate scant of cheese and overburdened withsweet walnuts and honey. Save your hard-earned money on this one. Read more
We went for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious! This was my first time and it was a pre fixe Christmas menu. I will... definitely be back to try their standard menu. Magnificent food, beautiful decor, welcoming atmosphere. Craig Bailey is a master chef melding flavors from all over the world... into dishes that surprise and delight.
