When I unwrapped my Surfer sandwich I flashed back to opening my lunch at the 4th grade lunch table. I felt like my Mom had... packed my sandwich. Inside was a basic-looking sandwich on wheat bread (my chosen bread) cut into quarters. But the flavor wasanything but basic. Definitely the freshest and best-tasting deli sandwich I have tasted in a while. Don?t like tomato? Goodbecause they don?t like to put tomatoes on sandwiches so I was happy about that. Slather on the Anna?s sauce (mix of Mayo andmustard) and eat it up. My full Surfer sandwich and a side of potato salad set me back a mere $11. Grab your sando and hit thebeach. Read more
Ana?s deli is the best place to get a sandwich in Sarasota County hands down. They are that good. I only wish they would open up... more locations (Venice or North Port please!) Their surfer sandwich puts Publix to shame (and this is coming from someone wholoves publix) - the freshest meats, soft bread which I assume must come from a local bakery, the special sauce is amazing. It?sright near the beach and several nearby hotels. I don?t consider any trip to siesta key complete without stopping at Ana?s atleast once. Read more
This place will always be one of my favorites! The staff is always SO willing to go above and beyond for anhthing you might... need, the food comes out quickly, and you can genuinely taste the freshness in the ingredients that are used. Anna's is a Siesta Key original. Handmade fresh sandwiches made with real deli breads and quality ingredients. In short, this... isn't your Subway sandwich shop. I always get the tuna with lettuce tomato and onions, while my partner switches it up, butoften gets the roast beef. Right near public beach access 12, so you can walk off the beach and grab a sandwich to either eat inthe deli or right back on the beach. Their potato salad is also really great!! Read more
OH MY GOSH!!!! Either I was starving or I had the best sandwich ever, or maybe both... I ordered the Surfer and this is not your... traditional ham and turkey sandwich. The cucumbers really make the sandwich tip the scale on greatness. I was in the areavisiting and stopped by Anna's deli after the beach and the associates are so nice and helpful om sandwich options.
