We have been coming here for over a year and every time the food and service is excellent. We have had quite a few dishes from... their menu and cuisine is authentic cooking. This time we had the Gyro Platter and Lamb Bacon Burger with the Fried Calamariappetizer. All fresh ingredients and served in good portions. We always come back because of the quality of the dishes. My wifehad the Lam Chops awhile back, it was their special that day, and they were amazing. My loved the Lam Bacon burger and even hada hard time finishing it and thats rare that he can'y finish his meal. The salads are all real fresh and crispy. This is just anice place to come eat with friends, family, couples, or alone. The have a few tables outside if you prefer outdoor dining. Theservice is excellent and they always make you feel welcome. They are located in The Colonnade shopping center right off BeeRidge a short distance east from Tamiami Trail. We stopped in for an after Hurricane Ian lunch! We met Denna and her beautiful family who took absolutely amazing care of us!!... The service was superb! The selection of food is vast!! The food is delicious and all made in house. Fresh and tasty. The Chicken Souvlaki sandwich is the best I have had in Sarasota.... The Baklava is traditional and flaky and the perfect sweetness. The owners are some of the most genuinely kind and nice people Ihave had the pleasure to meet. Also, it should be noted they have celebrations with Music and Belly Dancers. Great place! Read more

Everything was really delicious. We all loved the Appetizer sampler, especially the hummus and pita. We also had the chicken... souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes, sandwich, and kids chicken fingers with fries. We will definitely come back. Read more

If you're looking for X1 Greek food and a very reasonable price, come visit Athens family restaurant. My wife and I got on... Came here for lunch and everything was delicious. The appetizer sampler was so so good. Had fish for main course and it melted... in your mouth. Homemade baklava for dessert was the perfect ending to a great meal. The owner was very friendly. Will definitelycome back next time we are visiting sarasota. Read more
