I used to love this place. I go here weekly for take out and there seems to be something wrong every time over the last few... months. Today they only gave me 1 rice for 2 orders of curry. On Wednesdays the curry is horrible. And every time I go it alwaysseems seems like it?s a problem asking for more than one chili oil from the hostess. I have been going here since I was a childand have loved this restaurant so much that I even had continued to go here after my aunt ended up with Salmonella poisoningfrom this restaurant. Tonight however was my breaking point as I stand in my kitchen to make rice for my second order and I?mdisappointed to say I will be taking my business elsewhere unless Bangkok goes back to what it used to be. Coming in a close 2nd place for there Thai food. Isan Thai being number one. I love all the curry sauces over chicken spicy.you... gotta have the sweet Thai ice tea to wash it all down when you're done. I still give them 5 stars hands down. Ordered the special, whole snapper with chili sauce for my birthday. It was slathered in chili sauce and gross. Also ordered a... large hot sake and got a tea pot of sake for $27. Who brings a whole tea pot of hot sake. Someone trying to take advantage oftheir customers. Seriously an awful experience. Paid the LARGE bill without saying anything. Will never go back. Read more
We were driving to our hotel when we saw this place and decided to eat here for lunch. It has a nice traditional Thai restaurant... feel and everyone was really friendly and wore beautiful traditional Thai outfits. Our server was really friendly and wasattentive enough. My husband ordered a Sapporo to drink and we ordered chicken satay and spring rolls for appetizers. For ourmain course, we decided to split a fried sweet and spicy red snapper. The satay was just okay and the pranut sauce was betterwith the spicy sauce. We really liked the spring rolls though- they came out hot and crunchy and the filling was just the rightamount. The fried snapper was really delicious. It was crunchy on the outside and it was juicy on the inside. It also came withvegetables like bell peppers, bamboo shoots, onions, and mushrooms. They also gave us a heaping scoop of jasmine rice. I reallyliked it and with more chili, it tasted perfect! I definitely recommend. Probably skip the chicken satay but ai recommend thespring rolls for apps. Read more
