Tried to order off doordash, suddenly closed after 40 minutes of dasher waiting at restaurant, never got order. Awful!
I went to Ben's Soft Pretzels in Sarasota for the first time last weekend and am SO glad I did. I absolutely loved it! The... gentleman working the counter was friendly and inviting, and offered some helpful information about their products. The pretzelitself was delightfully large and tasted fresh in every possible way. It was perfectly chewy (not dry or rubbery) and tastedlike it was made in-house with all natural ingredients (other pretzel chains have tasted like they use additives or are overlyprocessed, in my opinion). I grew up eating soft Philadelphia and NY pretzels but haven't had a good one of those in years. It'sbeen so long I thought I'd never have a delicious soft pretzel again. Then I found Ben. <3 I acknowledge these pretzels arenothing like Philly or NY pretzels, but I'm fairly certain they're the best soft pretzels I've ever eaten. Friendly staff, full of suggestions. I brought a pretzel home for my son, who absolutely loved it. The eating area was very... clean as were all of the visible areas to the consumers. The prices were average as far as soft pretzels go. This location islocated within the Walmart on the corner of university & Lockwood ridge in Sarasota. Read more
Tonight the 5 of us went to claim our free pretzels from the app, and the employee did not know how to operate the app, nor did... he try to resolve the issue. He told us that corporate is no longer doing the special, and that was it! My husband went back toshow him the corporate website with the special still going on, and still the issue was NOT resolved. Not good customer service,and not good problem solving from the employee! Wish the number for the owner, or manager was posted! Super delicious pretzels and the staff is very nice too. Definitely recommend if you are a soft pretzel fanatic like me!
