I was really excited to try this place. But I knew it would probably not be the best as when we walked in we were told the... kitchen was about to close so we would have to order quickly. The appetizer was good and it was HUGE. I got the chicken parm andmy husband got the marsala. It was just ok for me. I definitely can't wait to come back! I'm looking forward to sitting in the formal dining area. We sat in the bar area. Which... was completely fine and we felt like something very casual like pizza. The pizza was absolutely amazing! I can ever rememberhaving! And the flavors, everything was so fresh! The wine was tasty. I did not look at the complete wine menu but whatever weordered was delicious. I definitely can't wait to come back when we have more of an appetite and order dessert. I know that thisis family owned by a few brothers and it supports several families and I think they're great, the only problem I have is withOwen's fish camp LOL you can't make a reservation in the place is always packed it just seems like it's a local it's just notworth going to which is totally disappointing. Veronica's is nice it's pretty decent it's definitely above average then one ofthe usual restaurants in the area so that's nice. Best Italian restaurant by far in Sarasota. Would give this restaurant 6 stars if possible. Great service, fantastic food, and... for a great value. Had two entires, one appetizer, one kids meal, and three glasses of wine all for less than 100 dollars. Wehighly recommend this restaurant. Read more
Its was late and we happen to find this restaurant open. The gentleman came out from the bar area and seated us with a smile. We... enjoyed the shrimp scampi linguine and the spaghetti with meatballs. The ambiance was also nice. Great restaurant to visit againwhen in the area. Read more
Really good experience here. We had reservations, so we were able to show up and get seated almost immediately. The food here... was absolutely PHENOMENAL! We had the bruschetta, tortelloni, and tiramisu. The food came out quickly, and it was so fresh andtasty. The service was okay, we didn’t see our server very much and did have to wait a few times. However, our server lookedreally busy with multiple tables and had her hands full, so no issue there. We were in and out in less than an hour, even withthe appetizers and desserts. We met a friend for an early dinner here. It’s a stalwarts in SRQ. We always sit in the bar area. Food is consistent,... delicious and very reasonably priced. Lots of regular clients. The place is busy even in the summer. You can’t go wrong! Read more
Stopped in here for dinner with family while on vacation. Had to sit in the bar area because we did not have a reservation.... Would highly recommend making one. Food was good. I had chicken Parmesan and it was good, wife had some eggplant Parmesan and itwas really good. My daughter had a cheese pizza. We both had salads and those were good. Only reason not giving 5 stars wasservice. Had to wait for items we ask for a long time even having to ask twice at times. Maybe that is just part of sitting inbar area, not sure. Good food though.
