I work for the county and decided to stop by after work. I went through the drive thru and made an order (after the recording... came on and stated they were closed at 5:30). When I got to the window I physically watched a Hispanic woman WITHOUT GLOVES wipeher nose 3x and then take her hands and fix my fries. No tongs, HER HANDS! I watched her then pick up the tongs to put friesfrom the fryer in our fry container THEN AGAIN use her hands that she wiped her nose with to straighten the fries out becausethey didn?t want to fill my container with fries, since they were closing and did not want to make more. I was in such shock Ididn?t know what to do. I was afraid they were going to spit in my food. When they handed me my bag, I immediately threw it outin the trash. I didn?t eat a thing. I called corporate to express my concerns and they offered me no money back. What a joke! Iwill be contacting the health department. Read more
Amazing burgers if you're looking for a quick fix. I personally prefer full beef patties. The smoky sweet bacon barbeque burger... is the one that is the best burger. Read more
Food was fine, no complaints. However they were trying to close a little early that day even though we got there an hour before... said closing time.. they messed up my friends food and the lady in there YELLLED at my friend.my friend kept her cool likealways but the lady in there deserves to me fired..or told to quit bc she clearly didn't want to be there or be nice to any ofthe customers. The food was ok'ish. However, they have the dining room closed forcing you to eat outside. While outside eating in 100° weather... my feet got covered in fire ants. The customer service was definitely lacking. The young man acted like he was unable to hearanything and kept making us repeat our order. Honestly, this was one of the worst experiences I've had in a while. Call me aKaren or whatever, but this was absolutely GARBAGE. Read more
Decent food nothing special, great apnosphere, would eat here again but wouldn't go out of my way
The milkshake made me sick, it was early I'm the day. I may have been the first milkshake order of the day?. Apparently, the... machine wasn't cleaned well or the mix wasn't stored at the proper temperature.. Albeit that I am lactose intolerant, which onlycauses gas. Milkshakes don't get sick to my stomach and running to the restroom. I had to take Imodium AD to stop going. Read more
Not a fan of this location. Got a Cheese Champ that was the same size as a Checker burger, so that was a rip-off in itself. It... was cold & the bread tasted old. Thankfully, I got only a medium drink that was more like a large of my favorite, Barq's RootBeer. They first tried charging me for a combo with fries. But at least they kept the onion off my burger, like I asked, and noice for my soda. Skip this Checkers. Or better yet, become a Vegan! There are quite a few Vegan restaurants popping up inSarasota. It'll make my Vegan quest easier. I had no business being at Checkers or any fast food restaurant. I wasted my moneyeating part of an animal that lived a life of suffering in the meat industry. Place has really improved in the last year. Glad to see the freshness and quality go up. Keep up the good work guys!
