A great restaurant in the heart of the shopping district. I have eaten at the Original Columbia's restaurant in downtown Tampa.... This one was definitely on Par with the original. Great people, great food and a great atmosphere. All of our food was cookedperfectly. Everything was hot and fresh. If you are anywhere near you have to eat here for the food and for the experience. This was a good experience. It was very busy, so our service wasn't exactly quick. Looking back we wished we ordered the salad,... because that's what the restaurant Columbia is known for. We saw others getting the salad freshly tossed next to their tablesand it looked so good. I got the salmon with yellow rice and mixed vegetables. It was cooked to order and I ate everything onthe plate. So good! For dessert my wife and I got the monkey bread and it tasted really good. Read more

Good food, needs more seasoning . Happy awesome staff !!! Lariza was our server and she was excellent always smiling very... professional. Good atmosphere. The food good, but needs more seasoning. It's a good low sodium diet. But, I'm not in a low sodiumdiet. You have to wait a lot if you don't have reservations. Read more

This place is beautiful, the food incredible, and the service outstanding. My father was stationed in Spain, so I lived outside... of Madrid in middle and part of high school. I was hoping for reminders. They made sangria table-side and it was delicious, and so much better than what I get at other restaurants - it actually had fruit in it, just not the apples or pears I was expecting.I had my heart set on the Paella, and while very delicious, the rice tasted more of chicken than saffron. The bread was perfectand brought tears to my eyes - that was the same. Their 1850 salad and pompano baked in paper where outstanding. I will be sureto return when next in the area, but will focus on their Cuban specialties. Read more

It was really good! There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meal. I got the salad made table side-it was cool to watch them... make it. They had a little gift shop you could buy the dressing and it was only $5!! The only bad thing was we felt kinda rushedby the servers because it was so crowded. Read more

I think that someone has to be out of their mind if they don’t think that Columbia is one of the GREATEST restaurants in... Florida! For a friendly suggestion: I recommend for a table of four to share the infamous Columbia Salad as an appetizer and toshare the Seafood Paella as an entree. You can see from the pictures that it is a perfect amount of food for everyone and such agreat dish that everyone has to LOVE! Such a beautiful restaurant, that everyone has to go to at least once or twice in theirlife! Read more

Been going to Columbia for years and has always had great experience. I haven’t been in a couple years but my parent visited... on October. First thing we noticed was how much the price has increased. We ordered the roast pork holiday special. It came withbread and soup. The bread is always splendid. The meal portion was generous but the roast pork is dry and had no flavor. Thesides were delicious. We ordered bread pudding for dessert and it’s one of my favorite dessert. The portion is generous andenough for 2 people to share. Our waitress was great but she seemed very busy. Make sure to make reservation cause it getsreally busy here. Read more
