Service wasn’t great, but the food choices were excellent. We came for lunch and shared the ceviche (5 star), crab cake which... was really yummy, and the fish and chips. The food was fresh and presented well. I only rate 4 star because our server was notfriendly, and only checked on us twice from the moment we sat down. What a GREAT experience! Paul took care of us. He was very friendly and funny. We did happy hour and we luckily got a table for... four. The food is amazing. In my opinion best on the circle. Pictured is a spicy marg , blueberry lemonade cocktail, and trufflefries. We also tried the calamari with the almost peanut butter like dip with it AMAZING!!!! We had a wonderful light lunch today! We sat at the bar, and was attended to by Katie. She was friendly and a joy to speak... with! We ordered an old fashioned, tropical drink, crab cake, and ceviche! We thoroughly enjoyed our choices. We highlyrecommend the crab cake- perfect ratio of breading and crab meat filling. The calamari had a delicious dipping sauce. The Halibut with asparagus was phenomenal. And the deserts were superb. Our waiter... John was on point with wine selections and very patient even though we stayed after hours. Really enjoyed our visit. Read more
Based on all the solid reviews it’s clear we caught them on a bad night or time. We skipped the frozen daiquiri bar food and... pizza places on the circle in search of something a little nicer and sadly, we were marginally let down. Pros: server wasfriendly, food came out pretty quickly, enjoyed the outdoor seating, holiday lights were nice, piano guy was a nicetouch. Cons: for the location, ambiance and prices, getting a paper menu that was all stained with fold marks wasn’t a greatfirst impression. Ultimately, we came for the food, and we should have stuck with either a “crab” or “fin” choice, Iguess. Nothing jumped off the menu and spoke to me, so I figured I’d be safe with a swanky St. Armand’s Circle burger. Whata letdown. It was overcooked, dry, and tasted like a frozen burger out of a box from Walmart. It was fairly terrible. In theend, the experience was a straight up, meh. Didn’t knock our socks off, but wasn’t disturbing. Having said all of that, mydate was smoking hot, we had great conversation and an enjoyable night. So there is always that. Read more
Best in Armand's Circle. Service is excellent. Their bartenders are knowledgeable, feel free to order any kind of cocktail here... without fear. Food is excellent. Prices reasonable for what it is. Read more
The food was delicious ???? we got the king crab, Martha's vineyard salad, and raw oysters. The salad was very tasty, nice mix... of flavors, the oysters were yummy and the king crab was delicious but the butter wasn't warm so that was a bummer. Theatmosphere was ok, it was warm inside...like humid. The hostess told us there was no available seating, but there were plenty ofempty tables. She said we would only be able to sit at a table for 30min because of reservations. So we grabbed a drink at thebar and I was not about to eat a good dinner at the bar so we were going to leave. Then the hostess offered us a teeny tinytable against the wall of the bar. We took it. Was so tiny to try and eat the food we ordered lol. I'm all about ambiance andit's lacking that special feel that keeps you going back someplace. We spent $265 to sit at a tiny table in a humid restaurantto eat expensive king crab ????????????
