I had matar paneer take-out from Curry Station yesterday and thought it was five-star delicious. I asked for some heat and got... it, but not at the expense of flavor. The pungent, aromatic mix of warm Indian spices was perfect on what passes for a fall dayin Sarasota! The staff greeted me with smiles when I walked in the door, took care of my payment quickly, and said they hopedto see me again as I left. Ordered on Uber eats, Tikka Masala and Biryani was not good... extremely dry chicken and lacked flavor that I am accustomed to... Indian food. Samosas ghaat and Naan were good. Sadly disappointed with quality and prices for the portion sizes. Read more

First of all the 1 star I gave here for food quality. For service it should be zero stars but there is no option to rate it Zero... star. I visited this place out of curiosity and avg rating beyond 4. When I arrived along with my wife and kid, I waited onreception for more than 5 min, then I started walking in the restaurant so find if there is anyone who can serve us. One guycame out of kitchen and asked us to sit anywhere. He causally handed over the menu and walked away. We ordered the food. Theserving cutlery was only places for 2 eventhough we were 3 folks. Water was not served and while we eating the food realized weneed some water too. We waited for the server to pop out frm the kitchen and give some water to us. Thereafter we paid the checkbut my 6 yr old was still eating. Here comes the most nasty part, the server came to us with dirty dish cart and just asked areyou guys done eventhough he could see my kid is eating. Excellent food! The naans just ain’t it. It is just a industrially produce naan you could buy frozen at any grocery store.

This was our first time in an Indian restaurant and it did not fail to impress! The atmosphere was great, colorful tile wall... art, tasteful Indian decor and Artwork, and fun mood lighting. The food was fantastic. Goat Kebabs with mint sauce for anappetizer, Bazmati Rice with Chicken and Shrimp Vindaloo for dinner with Roti to pull it all together. And we also tried the TajMahal Beer, a great smelling spiced lager. We'll be back for sure! Read more

The food was okay, nothing amazing. Now, just FYI, I've have had some amazing Indian food in the past so maybe I'm a little... spoiled when it to the quality of Indian food I'm used to. My wife ordered some cheese dish that she said was okay but it wasnothing to write home about. She told me that it was lacking in the flavor dept. The chicken Tikka Masala I had here was notthe normal recipe that I'm used to. It wasn't a curry like I'm used to. It was more like the consistency of chunky Mexicansalsa. It was also a little too on the sweet side for me. And it didn't taste anything like the usual Indian restaurantrecipes I'm used to. The lamb saag was the best part of my meal. It was good, just not "amazing!". The weird part is that ourmeal took longer than normal to come out, but there was only one other small family in the entire restaurant...? The servicewas good though, at first, our plates were taken away quickly, and we were checked on frequently.... up until the last 25minutes of our meal... No one continued to check on us then, and we even had to get someone's attention just to get our bill. There was a group of employees just feet away from us talking to each other and just ignoring us....? That was just weird! Ithink we'll give this place at least one more chance.
