The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful with cultural curiosity questions. The food is satisfyingly portioned and... throughout the choices diversely spread across a wide variety. Carefully crafted the meal, appetizer and beverage selections areflavor rich and attractive. For most folks I'd estimate the pricing at two or 3 dollar signs.... about $13-16 a plate(Nov2022) I would like to dine here again if it becomes a reasonable choice of locale. Read more

Waitress was inattentive. She never refilled our water and did not ask to refill or reorder our drinks. Got our entree order... wrong and then argued with us about it, even though there were multiple witnesses and we pointed to it on the memu and sherepeated it back to confirm. Seafood was either overcooked or fishy. Food is overpriced for the quality. Beautiful restaurantthough. Read more

My wife and I had the mixed paella. It’s probably one of the more expensive dishes they have. It was delicious and plentiful.... The 2 server dish was too much for us. Allow about 1 hour if you order the paella. Try also the sangria. All very yummy. Read more

Real quiet. Food is excellent. Plenty of choices if some dishes appear too adventurous. My wife and I enjoyed the meal. ... Wine and beer choices are limited so imbibers beware if alcohol is mega important Read more

I have been going to Meimi’s on 17th since 2014 but this night there was an over hour wait so we went to El Patio Latino,... another Peruvian restaurant in Sarasota. The food was fine, slightly above average at best. My steak was dry and the foodlacked any spice but I was able to douse it with different sauces. The service wasn’t great either but it was not bad. Thiswas just mediocre food & service which added up to a below average experience. If you enjoy Peruvian cuisine, go to Meimi’son 17th. Read more

We’ve always enjoyed the food at this place when we used to come here about 10 yrs ago. We wonder why we didn’t come back... sooner. They have maintained the quality of their food. As you can see in my pictures, the food is fresh and plated beautifully.Everything tasted great. I would say the portions are adequate. I was quite worries at first seeing the price of the appetizersin the $14 and up range. But it was a huge portion of ceviche and causa that could have already been a meal for 2. We ended uptaking home the arroz con mariscos and the lomo saltado since we were full after just the appetizers. The place is very clean, including the restroom. Our waitress was very friendly and was very good at explaining and offering suggestions. Will definitelybe back sooner. Read more

Lovely experience. Took my parents here for the first time and they were impressed. My son got the fried rice and my mom said it... was the best she’s ever had. Mom got the fried fish. Dad and I split the paella mixta. We asked for a chorizo to be servedwith it. It was so good!!! Good Sangria too! Veronica was very sweet and helpful! Excellentplace!???????????????????????????????? Love this family run spot. Many of the recipes are made from scratch and it shows. I ate the chicken which was extremely tender... and juicy. The green (I’m guessing cilantro) garlic sauce was a great option for dipping the chicken and fries. Couldn’trecommend the chicken enough. Customer service was also great. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating as they offered toexplain the menu as needed. Read more
