We had a wonderful dinner here with a large group of 10. Our wait staff was amazing and the food was great. What a difference good service makes. We chose a very nice restaurant this evening on Longboat Key. We received the worst... service there that we actually paid our tab after 1st course and decided to check out Flabio's. The valet service was A+ atFabio's and we got right in without a reservation. Madison was our server If you eat at Flabio's request Madison. Her knowledgeof the specials and menu is amazing. You'll see, ask her anything! She is so genuine and although busy she was never too far toanswer a question. All the food that came out was delicious. The best cheese sticks I have ever had are there. The burrata pizza is so good! I loved that there was a bar option for open seating when we went (though it wasn’t super busy... when we did - it’s still a nice option to have). The bartender (I didn’t catch her name) was very friendly and made somereally good drinks! I had a house margarita while my boyfriend an IPA - both were good but the pizza is delicious! I just love this place, every time I visit Sarasota I stop by flavios. The food is original with Italian flavors (I have been to... Italy many times before) staff is so nice and friendly, the place and atmosphere are great, I always have a great time there andFlavio is a humble man who looks like a great boss, very nice with his staff and clients. Stopped by Flavio's after a beach day at Siesta Key. They offer valet parking outside for $5 and I would recommend making... reservations ahead of time as this place was packed full. Opt to sit outside if it's not too hot of a day because the ambianceis gorgeous! We weren't feeling up to ordering traditional entrees so we ordered their brick oven pizza. The pizza is more thanenough for two people to share. We got the Pizza Carnivora and Pizza Prosciutto - both were delicious and tasty. Owner is rude, and service is SO SLOW! Had a pick up order for 6:30 pick up and order wasn’t started until after I arrived at... the restaurant. No signs on where to pick the order up and food is not good for the price. 20 dollars for undercooked pizzathat’s smaller than a personal. Read more

EXCELLENT Neapolitan style pizza!! The best I have ever had; I almost wanted to eat it crust first. So crispy and still so... chewy. My plan was to eat half and take home the rest but my taste buds demanded that I finish it all. No regrets! With everyonespeaking in Italian it adds a lot to the already great atmosphere and ambiance. Of the several places we have dined at whilevisiting Siesta Key, Flavio's had the best service by a country mile. Pro-Tip: get a side of Marinara to dip the crust in. Itsflavor x flavor squared.
