This place is the real deal! Best Mexican chicken nachos I have ever had. I come here regularly just for the nachos because... they are incredible. This is the only place I have ever received the chips with cheese and chicken on a separate plate from thewet stuff (lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, etc.) This allows me to add the wet stuff when I am ready so the chips stay crunchy andhotter longer. I had been here one other time and the service was amazing...but this last time not so much ...we had to actually ask the... hostess to take our drink orders because it took about 15 min to even get water..when we did the waitress was friendly ansapologized. The best Mexican food in Sarasota. I honestly don’t know how this place doesn’t have a 4.8 or better rating. But people love... to complain. It’s authentic Mexican food at good prices. We love the Taco Tuesday deals! We go as much as we can. The waitress was very patient with us as I do have three children and... couldn't decide on drinks. Huge menu. Usual Mexican dishes plus soups, steaks, something for everyone. Nice dining atmosphere with dimmed down lighting... with a rustic, cantina feel. Fresh pico de Gallo, black bean dip for chips that you won't find anywhere else. Ice cold PinotGrigio. Steak burrito was full of meat, not just in the center. Loaded soft tacos.
