Well I have to say that we were a bit disappointed with our Sunday Brunch experience. We kept seeing ads for bottomless mimosas... and their super Sunday Brunch, so we decided to check it out. We ordered our mimosas only for the waiter to tell us that theyare not doing "bottomless" but instead we need to order by the glass. $9 ea. So ok we did. First off, the brunch menu is verylimited. Nothing really jazzy at all about what they offer. Did however notice 3 dishes made with spam.... Yes, spam ????.Prices are on the high end too. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and my fiancé ordered 2 eggs over easy with bacon andpotatoes. My dish came out fine except a little skimpy on the hollandaise sauce. His eggs came out over cooked. We asked forthem to bring out a new plate which took forever and they were not that busy at all. When his second dish arrived the eggs werenow sunny side up and not over easy. The English muffin was burnt on the edges and the bacon was under cooked. When we receivedour bill we noticed that they charged us $12 for the mimosas and not $9 like our waiter had told us. We did speak to the managerand she adjusted the charges, however we were pretty disappointed with the whole overall experience and probably won't beback...at least not for brunch. Read more

This Kona Grill is located in the UTC Mall in Sarasota. The sushi rolls we ordered were okay. Our service was nice. Our server... was not quite familiar with the options on the menu or the additional sauces they offer. The ambiance was quite loud. My husbandand I got the entire scoop on a lady's upcoming divorce from a part of four that were seated aross from us. Oh My. The music wassoft and did not drown out much of any noise. The decor is attractive but the plastic barriers need a lot of cleaning andmaintenance. The menu is HUGE! It's not a good value for the money. It's a bit pricey to dine here for what you get. The restaurant is amazing the atmosphere is very nice the mimosas on Saturday are bottomless and they are very good the... bartender is on point! For the pricing of the food it’s not so well because the food is a very bland it could use a lot moreseasoning! So your paying a lot for something not so enjoyable to eat. Other than that! My wife and i visited Kona Grill for the first time during our trip to Sarasota. It was truly a pleasurable experience. We... enjoyed a great dinner with what most likely was the best service we received during our visit to Sarasota. Me and my wife stopped in for dessert and got the butter cake! It was so good! Soft and fluffy with great taste the ice cream... went well with it along with the fruit paste. Really great dessert to share with your significant other or the table. Read more

Our second visit to this location. They were running a Valentine’s menu. Jason our server was amazing and made sure we had... everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We started with drinks and sliders for our appetizer. We continued with our entrees andadditional offering with the help of Jason. We were offered the wing’s special for the big game as well. We finished off ourmeals with “real” New York cheesecake with chocolate strawberries. Will definitely be returning and will be asking for Jasonas our server. Read more

We were shopping and decided to stop here for dinner. This was my first time here. We went to the bar since they were on a wait... and we were greeted promptly. We ordered pot stickers as an appetizer and Macadamia Nut Chicken for dinner with a couple ofsalads. The appetizer potstickers were not good. Lightly filled ,super salty and just there. They have 3 for 3 bucks at happyhour that is all they are worth. I felt cheated paying so much for 5 of them. The awesome things. The bartender and thechicken. He knew we were sharing and he brought two plates without us asking. The salads were at the same time, that was notokay, however, this is a review about great service and a great dish saving the experience. The chicken was amazing, thebroccoli well seasoned and the salad cold and crisp. I will definitely return, avoiding the pot stickers, for the great serviceand flavorful moist chicken. Read more

Stopped in for a snack and happened upon Happy Hour. What!!! I’m happy now! Jason, Jordan and Alex took excellent care of us... and I had to share. The edamame was prepared perfectly and the lettuce wraps were divine. The London Mule was out of this world,if you like ginger. The host staff was very welcoming as soon as we came in the door. The ladies room was clean and fullystocked with hand soap and paper products. The inside was very clean. All of the tables were bused. The music was upbeat andenergetic and played at such a level that allowed us to enjoy it, as well as engage in conversation. They offered patio seatingand even part of the bar had outdoor seats. I definitely recommend you check them out! ***SIDE NOTE: Make sure you check andfind out if they’re still on happy hour. Apparently, our order was put in at three minutes after the hour of 6 PM, so we hadto pay full price road than happy hour pricing. Read more
