First time dining here after hearing positive reviews of their food. We did enjoy the food and I want to come back to try other... dishes. However, upon our arrival it took several minutes for anyone to acknowledge us in any way. Servers walked by severaltimes and people behind the counter saw us but not one welcomed us for about five minutes. That lack of a welcome, which is sobasic, negatively influenced my overall impression of the restaurant. Hopefully they will address this basic element ofhospitality. Read more
A little bit of the real Northern Italy in Sarasota. Limited seating, worth the wait.
Disappointed with their veal dish. Not very tasty. Also had terrible gluten free pasta. Scallops were very good. Loud restaurant... hard to hear your own table conversation. Read more
The food and mood was espectacular! Unfortunately the server (Carol) treated us like we didn’t belong there! Probably because... we just gotten out of work and was not dress to impress! So sad! I would have loved to eat there again! She treated us and madeus feel like we couldn’t afford our $30 dollar plate! Well guess what Carol! My husband is a food and beverage director, weown our own business and each of us have our very well paid jobs! We can afford to eat there every day if we choose to! Such ashame I’m also a neighbor! First time and will definitely go back. Shared the Octopus and Tripe appetizers plus I had the rack of Lamb in a fig sauce.
Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. Perfect in every way. Still sitting here at my table in awe of how delicious it... all was. Great service and atmosphere. A true hidden gem. The market next door was not explored by us this time but it certainlywill be before we leave Florida. So good thank you so much for such a great meal.
