There are several great places to get Indian food here in Sarasota. This place however is the crème de la crème of Indian... food. It’s actually authentic, family owned and prepared food. The butter chicken is my favorite and I will drive miles out ofmy way to get it. You can get REAL naan bread here and get it in the garlic variety and you will not regret it. I’m not hugeon desserts so as a recommendation they offered a mango lassi… Wow. This cold smooth mango drink was soooooo good and hits thespot after eating their curry. My biggest recommendation is to start slow with their spice levels because their hot isdefinitely hot. I think their mild is a perfect blend of creamy with a hint of spice. So next time you’re in the mood forIndian, you owe it to yourself to experience this hidden gem! I appreciate the wait staff for always being so friendly andaccommodating. Never have I seen them without a smile and happy to see and my family. So great! Read more

The place is nice and decent. For dinner, we tried their Chicken Tikka Marsala and everyone loved it. We also like the Chicken... Tandoori. The beef curry was just ok and the fried okra is good. The service was awesome. Thanks. Read more

I have noticed a bad service first 5 minutes I did not even get an eye contact finally somebody came and brought me a menu and... disappeared after 5 minutes this person came back took the order food was horrible just like somebody took the food out from thefreezer and put it in the microwave and served Naan was wet and soggy, I order one lamb Curry , raita and two naans. And a dietcoke. My bill was 43.50. this was shocking. Food was not even worth $10. I took the Uber back to the hotel and advised the Uberdriver to never bring anybody to this restaurant it was waste of time waste of money but I was hungry and that was the onlyrestaurant was open until 10:00 p.m. me personally will never go back there again and I will not recommend this to anybody Read more

The owner served us, and made sure we were happy and had all we needed. He was very kind and customer friendly! Food was... AMAZING!!! ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF LATER... My husband and I came back to this restaurant with a friend and her husband, whowere in from out of town, celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. The owner approached us, and remembered my husband andI! This made us feel nice, as this was our second time ever being here! The food was even better this time around, Ithought! I ordered my usual, chicken korma (amazing, bold flavors!), my husband ordered the goat biryani, and our guestsordered lamb dishes. The peshwari naan is always soo good, so I got 2! The onion and mint chutneys were pretty good (I'd haveto admit that I prefer the ones at a particular restaurant in Kissimmee, where we used to live, but they were still very goodhere!) But the raita yogurt was amazing! It actually printed me to try to learn to make it at home! *We were worried that wewouldn't be able to make it in time to eat, as we went to see the sunset at siesta key beach. We didn't arrive here until915pm, and they still let us in! Although they closed at 10pm, they didn't rush us to leave. We ended up leaving close to1030pm (sorry again, guys! But THANK YOU!!!) I was reading the older reviews and am dumbfounded by so many negative ones!Maybe there are good days and bad days, and we were lucky enough to come in on the good days?! I hope that, since we came hereover a month ago, that the previous concerns were fixed and taken care of. I would hate to have a negative experience here! There are 2 Indian restaurants near my home in North Port, but I would say that in terms of flavor, this one beats them all... I would definitely drive the 31 miles each month for this yummy flavor explosion on my palette! Read more

The food has no taste. I tried their buffet and everything was bland and tasteless. The rice pudding had a weird chlorine smell... and the dessert spoons looked dirty. I won't be going there again. There are far better Indian food options in Sarasota. Themango lassi was good but extremely sweet.. So you can't really have it more than a few sips. Just bad good overall. I gave 3stars because there was good variety in the buffet and service and ambience was ok. Read more

100% original Indian food. The place is very well set and is 100% Indian food, it is an authentic place with Indian roots where... you can see the culture of the country in its entirety, being a unique and highly recommended experience. The food is excellent, both in its variety and in its preparation, I was lucky enough to participate in a buffet and that allowed me to access a morevariety of dishes, all excellently prepared and with an incredible flavor. The service is very good and very efficient, even fora large number of guests like the one there that day (50+) with adults and children, and at all times the staff was attentive tothe needs of all diners.
