We are here our first night in town after a long day of travel. It was just what we needed. The waterfront seating was so... relaxing that we were all ready for a nap. Our waiter was exceptional. This is my second time at Marina jacks and I can tell you it is by far one of my favorite restaurants on the water here in... Sarasota. Space is seating throughout and the ability to eat inside or out. Arele was our server and delivered a greatexperience. I had the delicious clam chowder. The seafood rolls are one of the most popular items here and one of my personalfavorites. And it goes without saying that the view is absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful marina with amazing waterfront views of Sarasota. The marina has three restaurants. We decided to eat at the Blue... Sunshine Patio Bar. We enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad along with the grouper tacos. For dessert we enjoyed the famous key limepie. Food was served promptly and cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly and attentive. There are three different places. Each one has its own menu. Outside has a cool environment and the menu is more like tacos and... nachos. Inside second floor, open for dinner with dinner menu. And this one, first floor. Environment is really nice, staff werefriendly. Pineapple margarita was amazing. The margarita I ordered was extremely strong, but I asked for some sour mix and gotperfect. We had a wonderful time aboard the Marina Jack II and can't wait to do it again! The staff were attentive and friendly. The... passengers were having a great time! Lots of laughter and excitement among the kids, parents and grandparents. It felt good tome to be among them after so much pandemic social distancing. Sarasota is a beautiful city and we loved seeing it from theGulf. The sunset was gorgeous and the beautiful homes along the way were to die for. Dinner was really good. We especiallyloved the salmon and the scalloped potatoes! Yum! There is also a Marina Jack restaurant at the marina that we want to try thenext trip to Sarasota. If you have a disability, feel comfortable knowing that you will be helped by the staff. I personallysaw the care that was taken of the disabled elderly. It was touching to me. We had a good experience here - we ate at the more casual bar/patio area. Service was good, food came out quickly. Our server... didn’t say much to us & I didn’t feel he was the best communicator, didn’t check on us after our food came out from a foodrunner. But the food itself was very good. We enjoyed the oysters, the ahi tuna bowl was delicious, and we loved the coconutshrimp too. Read more
Excellent Fresh Fish Located on the water this restaurant offers a beautiful setting for lunch. The fresh grouper sandwich was... top notch. The grilled chicken sandwich was excellent as well The drinks were strong pours and very good. The service was topnotch for the entire meal Prices are moderate.
