Early for our reservation time and we were quickly seated, outdoors as requested. Good menu selections. They served eggplant... with the bread. My wife had the Lasagna and enjoyed it. My salad choice was the Norvgia, excellent with the smoked salmon &fresh avocado. The swordfish I ordered was very good. We opted out of desert, as they only had a few choices. Fantastic food, great "old world Italian" atmosphere; excellent service from the Valet service when you pull up to the... host/hostess' and servers who KNOW the menus! Thank you! A piece of Italy in Sarasota. A charming pizzéria stretching their physical limit to the max to cope with the popularity. Extra... seating in a galéria, outside seating directly at the busy Tamiami trail, valet parking to effectively using the limitedparking spots, promoting guest rotation, all these measures result in a very effective service. Big screen bw movie, pizza owenon display gives extra charm. But the pizza dough is the winning argument in the battle for condiments. It is light, soft, a bitburned, really marvelous. Real porcini was used in my tartufata. We missed in the marinara the taste of the sea. The service canbe improved, but still worth visiting. Read more
Beautiful rustic Italian restaurant. Known for their pizza and unique cuisine this place will not disappoint you. They have a... beautiful inside and outside. Outdoor seating and a large bar and options for adult drinks. Clean and maintained. Dessert isserved fresh and ingredients are always fresh as well. You couldn't ask for a better dining experience. Owners and staff arealways interacting and involved and very friendly and engaged. They also have a valet parking service available. Read more
Hands down one of the best Italian food places around. From the amazing appetizers to salad to the ravioli special they had... today even too the cannoli for dessert everything was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch or a nicedinner date. Read more
Great food and cocktails. Definitely save room for dessert! There is valet parking (unless you park on the street) so make sure... you take some cash. There is seating on the first and second floors. The staircase to the second floor was a little challengingfor my 80-year-old grandmother. Read more
