I had a non-local who regularly visits that suggested I try the Orange Octopus, and my family was extremely pleased with the ice... cream. Just perfect! The place smells great, the ladies working there are smiley and upbeat, the music is awesome, the artwork is by... preschoolers.... Everything is simply good and nothing is pretentious! THE BEST ICE CREAM IN TOWN!! Our family loves visiting the Orange Octopus when we're back in Siesta Kay. They have all the... flavors you'd expect plus several signature flavors that are handmade, by them, with fresh ingredients. The owners are supernice and indulged all our questions about ingredients and ice cream making... but some recipes will always remain a secret(coffee crunch). The only problem I found is not having an orange octopus back in my home town! Seriously, go grab a few scoopsand maybe a waffle cone or two, you'll be glad you did. This place is just something special. I stood outside the door for about five minutes before entering, thinking and saying under... my breath, ?Would you just look at it?. I walked in was greeted by the nicest employees. I sampled about 90% of the flavorsbefore I tried the butter pecan. That flavor lemme tell you just got my knickers in a bunch. Instant mouth orgasm.
