I will always give 1 star reviews to places who show open on google but have white paper on their windows that says closed to... any reason except short staffed. Tech issues? Really? I went to Smoothie King on Fruitville Rd in Sarasota to get a smoothie for myself & my hubby today & unfortunately I get up to... order & tell her I want an Angel Food & Banana boat she then says we are out of bananas. WHAT? This is the second time in amonth they have been out of bananas & 1 other time they thought they were out but had 1 left then they were out. There was nosign posted so I had to back up (glad know one was behind me ) My question is?Publix super market is right behind the buildingwhy can?t they go over with petty cash & buy some bananas instead they had a regular customer very upset & went else where tobuy 2 smoothies today. I recently had surgery, and smoothies are one of the only ways I can get protein in at this time. I came here a few days ago and... ordered an Activator, with double strawberries and whey protein. Absolutely no issues with that order. It was seamless and thestaff member was extremely kind. Today, around 1pm, I returned and ordered the same thing. When I got to the window, I noticedthe total $ amount was different, so I double checked to make sure the whey protein was added. From that point on, the employeewas extremely rude and her tone and volume was absolutely uncalled for. My boyfriend, who was on the phone with me through mycar speaker, even heard her and said ?Woah, what?s going on??. I asked for my money back and left without my smoothie which isvery disappointing considering I am using them to fulfill serious nutritional needs right now. You have a serious bad apple onyour team and she needs an attitude adjustment. Rather than automatically take a condescending tone with someone, and yell atthem through a window, perhaps try to be patient and empathetic. I?m here to spend over $8 dollars on a 20oz smoothie. Smoothie King has always been a favorite of mine and although my experience wasn't as tragic as Mel previously listed, I would... like to corrorborate the fact that mine was given to me with two inches missing. Not sure what their problem is, but if this isa recurring problem (as it clearly is as listed prior), adjust your quantities accordingly y'all. Read more
I have been going to this smoothie king at times almost daily, the turnover is great, and I understand it?s not easy to keep... employees. But lately I have not been getting what I ordered with the enhancers, I always order the same thing every time and alot of times I just get a plain angle food without anything else in it. It should have whey protein, pure recharge and peanutbutter.you can tell when nothing has been added, especially when I order from the App. Also, smoothies have been coming outrunny. I really like this shop and I want to continue to support it but I?m getting very frustrated. A lot of the girls haveattitudes if you tell them there is a problem. I have spent a lot of money there.
