Ordered take-out, 4 salads and 2 pizzas, I called at 5:45 for a pick up for 7:00p, was told to call back and place the order at... 6:15? Seriously. I explained we would be in an escape room and I would not be able to call. They had me go to the bar to pickup the order, but it was a Saturday night so the bar was full. A woman generously let me utilize her spot to pick up and pay forthe food, but it was certainly awkward reaching over her purse and wine glass, while she patiently stood behind waiting to sitback down with her husband. The salads were super small, I took a photo but it does not do it justice, $10 salads for little tonothing and our pizza was cold. Normally when you pick up pizza, its so hot its hard to carry. The pizza was good, probablydelicious had it been hot, it was ready at 7p for when I scheduled the pick up, but not sure why it wasn't hot. Left too big ofa tip, was trying to give benefit of the doubt, but then I saw the salads 10 minutes later. 1 star for good pizza, 1 star forbeing on time. Read more
Very appealing menu with classic Italian dishes that you realize have absolutely nothing to do with Italy once served. I'd be... mightily surprised if anyone that had anything to do with our meals tried Italian food in Italy. Service was very good hence thethird star. Wine too. Don't get me wrong we didn't leave hungry. But Italian cuisine is about delicacy, simplicity and qualityof ingredients rather than "stuff your face". Read more
I'm not sure I've ever been so sincerely disappointed to see a restaurant close their doors, made only more heartsick by the... fact that we only recently discovered this darling gem! The service was warm and truly wonderful, and the table side Bada Bingwas exceptionally, memorably delicious. I've been daydreaming about that dish since we first tasted it!
