Took about 5 minutes to be greeted and sat but after that everything was perfect. We started with the buffalo shrimp appetizer... which was delicious and the shrimp were big. We had the grouper sandwich, the wedge salad and salmon pasta, all I would highlyrecommend. We ended with the dessert sampler which is perfect to try all 3 desserts they had. We sat outside and a storm wasstarting to come in but all the associates worked together to get the outside covered for the rain. I would highly recommendthis place to anyone staying in the area. Great food, service and view on the bay. We stopped in to Turtles for the first time to check this place out. We were greeted by... our server, Alexandra who welcomed us to what was to become a truly enjoyable visit. We both ordered the shrimp and seafoodcasserole and I enjoyed the bleu cheese wedge salad. The salad was a very generous and tasty surprise and the lettuce was crispand fresh. We took some time to enjoy the view and also some far distant lightning flashes over the bay while waiting for ourentrees. There was a cool breeze making the visit quite comfortable and when our dinners arrived they were spectacular with abrowned cheese crust covering the casseroles. We ordered our dinners without starch and opted for double mixed vegetables whichwere prepared in a garlic butter sauce and full of flavor. Our server made sure our ice teas were constantly filled. Dinner wasa definite success and we actually returned the next day for a Sunday brunch. We do live within driving distance so a returnwill be planned. Also it was noted that unlike so many of the restaurants in this vacation paradise, Turtles on Little SarasotaBay actually has some very reasonable pricing which adds to the overall value of the visits. View was great. Coconut Shimp appetizer was good. The $23 shrimp and crab scampi was definitely not worth it. It was lacking a... lot of flavor and portion size. The bread before the meal was the best part. Unfortunately our server made it back at the end ofthe meal to ask if we wanted drink refills, which we declined. Overall, service was bad and left us thirsty and still a bithungry. I guess we paid for the view. Read more
After strolling and relaxing at the beach for a bit, I checked Google maps to see what food was nearby. This cute restaurant was... right across the street from where I was! I walked over, and the Orange Pecan Chicken caught my eye. A few sections of thechicken were a bit chewier to eat, so I didn?t finish it, but the more tender bites mixed with a piece of orange was good. Read more

Great views with descent food for brunch. Dinner might be the better option for food but loved the fun drinks! Also easy boat... access from the intercoastal and next door shop for gas and ice. Read more
What a wonderful Christmas dinner we had! The restaurant was packed, but we got in right away and they put us at a table right... on the ???? no less! We had the BEST waitress and the food not only was very reasonably priced, it was also excellent! 2thumbs up. Read more
