Fantastic dinner - gumbo was amazing and I am originally from NOLA so that is hard to achieve. All entrees were delicious and... fish perfectly cooked. You cannot go wrong if you chose to visit this restaurant. I will be back on future visits to the area. Read more
Last night my husband and I drove up to Sarasota from North Port for a date night. We first drove out to Siesta Key but it was... way to busy so as we drove down Osprey to get to Downtown we found Veronica's totally on accident. So glad we took the chance totry something new. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get right in. Our waitress was beyond amazing and was sowelcoming. My husband got the Catch of the Day and I got the Skirt Steak. From the moment we walked in the door, the magic began! Friendly hostess, beautiful ambiance & our server, Parker was just... lovely with her attention & level of service! Food was fresh, piping hot & absolutely delicious. Portions were generous,beautifully plated & of course infused with flavor! Save room for dessert because it also was incredible.
