If you love Ramen as much as I do then this is the place for you! But it's not only about the taste of the dishes, it's also... about the originality that you will find in a special approach to decorating food. For example, damlings do not look likeeveryone is used to, but in the form of neat rolls, shrimp in the form of long crispy sticks. I especially want to mention thetiramisu. You will not find such a dessert anywhere in the world, it is blue-yellow and in the form of a snowflake. Served fortwo. Portion size is perfect. And the taste is not too sweet and not too salty, so delicate and airy. I love the taste and idea. This is the best dessert I have ever had in Sarasota! For such a dessert, you will always find a place in your stomach evenafter a hearty lunch. I'm a model and watch my diet and I'm glad I found healthy vegan Ramen here. They even used green noodleswith vegetable additives. I haven't seen this option anywhere else. Also in the soup were vegetables, mushrooms, not overcooked, made with the preservation of all important vitamins. The egg was cooked in a special way in some unique spices, the taste wasunique, I have never eaten such an egg anywhere! I was also pleased with the waiter. The guy is very friendly, positive, knowsthe dishes well. During the whole dinner he was there and was ready to help. I love spicy Ramen and he brought me spicy butterand sauce making my soup the food of the gods! An explosion of pleasure! This guy is the best waiter I have ever met. If therewas a world waiter competition, he would win it. The atmosphere of the restaurant immerses you in Asia. Here the emphasis is onanime, I liked the large collection of anime figurines and paintings, as well as anime cartoons on TV. Some of the workers evendraw an anime girl on the bulletin board every day. The team in the kitchen looks very close-knit, when I took the photo theyeven smiled at the camera. This is great! Lots of details that tell me that this restaurant deser Read more

Had to try this place for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Arrived after the normal lunch hour so it was not as busy and was seated... quickly. Very cool Japanese vibe and decor inside, everything looked new. I ordered the Spicy Miso and a side of Wavy Noodles. Ijust stuck to the carafe of cold water that they served. The Spicy Noodles was really good and had a good amount of spicy kickto it. The pork broth with noodles, bamboo and thinly sliced port was a nice mixture of both flavor and texture. The WavyNoodles side order was perfect because I ran out of noodles in the broth so I added the Wavy Noodles to the remaining broth andit was perfect. There is anime all over the restaurant, from wall art to anime figurines along the front counter and shelvesalong the walls. This was a nice touch to the overall ambiance. They give you menus and also the table has the QR code to scanfor a digital if you prefer. The menus had adequate selection of food and also adequate selection of drinks and desserts. Theservice was great. The restaurant is easy to access and parking is abundant. It's located right off Clark Rd. Read more

Finally got the chance to try out the new ramen place in Sarasota. Had high hopes for this ramen restaurant and been waiting... since last year! However, maybe they are too popular now, wait for seating takes a long time, even takeouts need wait anhour. Ramen and appetizers are pretty good, the pork buns look very cute. But I find myself prefer the pork belly ones, likethe ones in Mitaka Ramen House. Pork chasu feel a bit dry. As for ramen itself, tried tonkotsu and shoyu ramen, both tastegreat. The soup base is a little on salty side. Hope they add more varieties in future. Read more

My wife and I are ramen lovers so we were excited to hear about Yokoso Ramen opening up in Sarasota! We came in on a Sunday... (8/15) afternoon at 5pm and luckily they had one high top available for us to be immediately seated. The restaurant wascompletely full and there were people lined up at the door the entire time we were there. Despite this, we were in and out ofthe restaurant within an hour. We ordered takoyaki, ramen for each of us, an extra side of the chicken katsu, and onepassionfruit boba. Everything tasted excellent. My tonkotsu ramen tasted rich and authentic and the takoyaki was a great startto the meal. We got the boba to go and it was sweet and refreshing. I'd say the one thing I didn't like about my ramen was thatit only had 2 pieces of chashu pork. To charge $18 for the ramen and only put 2 pieces of chashu in the bowl doesn't seem right. They should either put a little bit more meat in the ramen or lower the price a couple dollars. However, I realize thatinflation is real. Regardless, we really enjoyed the food here and would recommend it. This is the only restaurant in theSarasota area to get an authentic bowl of ramen. Going to Yokoso Ramen I was greeted warmly and after sitting down I was given water and time to review the menu. Staff made sure... to check up on all guests. Like most ramen shops here and in Asia it is a half open kitchen. Very clean, no messy tables beingleft alone for a long period of time. As with many soft openings the food did take some time to come out, but nothing out of theordinary. I am sure once everyone is settled in and the staff has the muscle memory down service will speed up. For sure, 5/5and worth a stop by if you want some ramen. 5 for cleanliness 5 for service and timing (about 10-15 for my order) 5 foratmosphere 5 for taste 5 for price Read more

I went during the soft opening which could really be the reason for the three stars. The food tastes great, however, they could... definitely work on the service. I ordered white rice in which they did not have but also did not tell me, I ended up cancellingthe rice because it never came out. I did see them being on two white boxes from a Chinese restaurant which could have been thewhite rice, but we were already done eating when that came. My waitress forgot to add items on to my check and she said she putit on the table next to me so I had to pay twice. As I was leaving she also asked if I already received my to go food (which Idid not order) which was actually someone else?s and not mine. I believe this place has potential because of the location andgood food, but the service definitely needs to be worked on. Read more

I came twice in a row just to give this place an exact rating and view. Their first day was a little hectic which was very... understanding since it was their first soft opening and everyone was so excited to all be there first (me being one of thosepeople in line) so we all rushed in which caused the kitchen to be a bit backed. I was fully aware of what I was getting myselfinto with being the host & servers acknowledged me it was going to be awhile. Plus I was enjoying the intricate figurines theyhad on display and the anime they had playing, super inviting environment and vibe. Into the main part now, I started off witha good little drink called the ?Pink Yo-yo? off of the fruit tea section of their menu and it wasn?t too sweet or overwhelming(had fresh peaches in it too) more so on the refreshing end. I tried their tiger milk tea the next day also very good I wouldrecommend it a tab bit sweeter since I personally love drinks on the sweeter end???? As to their ramen it was superior. I sat atthe bar and peeked over and saw they had 2 big soup pots where they stew their broths in house (which is very traditional forramen instead of prepackaged flavoring). I ordered the ?Tonkotsu Ramen? and the the ?Curry Ramen? the next day. The noodleswere super bouncy and both covered in flavor from the rich broth. Usually I don?t finish the soups but in this case I finishedthe whole thing soo? I think that says a lot. Conclusion is I highly recommend people to come and give them a try and be a bitpatient with them since they are new. I?m glad I have a cool local ramen shop near me now. ???????????????? p.s. they havetiramisu and it?s also super good (cute too) but it apparently sells out pretty fast so def get your hands on it if you?relucky! Now open! (Soft opening on August 6, 2022) per staff, 7 days a week from 4-9 pm. The menu is online, accessible through the QR... code at the front door and on every table. The staff was really friendly. Even on their first day open with a lot of customersthey were very upbeat, helpful and patient. It was quite loud, however, considering the number of people actually in there. Maxcapacity is 47. We tried an order each of gyoza and shrimp shumai betwixt the three of us. Perfectly cooked, well presented andhot enough that I should've waited a few minutes before stuffing one into my pie hole. The dipping sauce was weak, almostwithout flavor but at least it wasn't a salt fest. We then had 3 different ramen bowls, the curry, the spicy miso and thetonkotsu. I do wish the slices of pork in the spicy miso had been smaller than sandwich sized considering there is no way cutthem with chopsticks, a fork & the spoon/ladle. We liked the very usable bamboo ladle-like spoon though it was a bit big for theend of the bowl. But I'm not afraid to tip the bowl. Everything was absolutely delicious. The prices were a bit much. Appsstarted a $6, pretty typical actually, but running up to $15. The ramen bowls were mostly $18 - one with seafood was $21. Otherentrees run from $16-27. To sum up, we really liked it, until the check showed up. Not an every week place, for certain. Read more
