Had the steak salad. This was the second time I ordered it. The steak was consistently perfectly executed. The steak was very... juicy and flavorful. It exceeded my expectations for a burger joint and definitely better than some high end steak houses Ihave been too. The pineapple cider was also delicious as well, so very refreshing. Read more
Located in the heart of downtown Saratoga, Big Basin Burger Bar has been a staple in the area since 2015 when they first opened.... As the name suggests, Big Basin Burger Bar offers a variety of signature burgers along with rice bowls and salads for anyonelooking for something different. They offer a impressive variety of proteins on their menu including bison, the impossibleburger, and a vegan option - so there's truly something for everyone! We arrived late afternoon on a Monday, with plenty ofseating options to choose from (both inside and outside), we elected to sit outside to enjoy the summer day. We went with theFrench Moo burger and the BLT Gobble Club. Now, what burger meal is complete without fries, so of course we had to get some aswell. I was torn between their regular french fries and their sweet potato fries (a personal favorite of mine), but fortunatelythey provide a half & half option to get both so I didn't have to choose. The French Moo burger was an instant favorite withthe symphony of flavors provided by the unique combination of creamy brie cheese, peppery arugula and salty pancetta. While Idid enjoy their BLT Gobble Club overall, I did find the patty to be a bit dry (but to be fair it is turkey). In the future I'lllikely go with one of their tried and true burger option instead of this sandwich. Came here after a rigorous hike, was in the mood for something very filling and greasy and this was the perfect choice. All... their burgers look amazing, but decided on "Wild Thing" because I love bison and gruyere! We also got some garlic parmesan friesand onion rings to share at the table. Even at the lunch rush hour, our food came out in reasonable amount of time. Theappetizers were very good! We were glad to have ordered 3 appetizers though, even though they said 1 could be shared by 3 people(we were a group of 6). They may have underestimated the hunger from hiking for 3 hours! The burgers came out quickly too, andit was so good! There is a lot going on but all the flavors and textures worked with each other. I was very satisfied. Best burgers! We love the build your own burger option, you get exactly what you want and can customize your burger every time.... The Bacon Deviled eggs were delicious and the truffle fries were awesome. This is a bar as well, with a great rotating varietyof beer and cider selections. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating, they have added a small curbside patio in the backparking lot. The service here is also really great, they bring you water when you sit down and deliver all your food and drinksright to your table,so you can sit back and relax. Read more

Wonderful place to enjoy good food and good vibes. The service is excellent, the waiters are always nice and kind. One time they... made a mistake with my order and they gave us the dessert for free and apologized. It's definitely a place to come back to. Justnoticed that some of my pictures were from the monthly special menu, so they don't always exist (the salmon burger and thetiramisu cake). Read more
Food was good. They have a kids menu (kudos to the mac'n'cheese). Their specialty seems to be burgers, which were overall good.... The French Moo tasted great, though the lower bun was soggy (really? At a burger place?). They have 7 tables outside, on thestreet. It gets loud, especially with all motorbikes driving nearby. Server was attentive and non-intrusive. Read more
