It took us awhile to try the new Apollo Burger because I had heard so much negativity online about it, but we finally tried it... today and I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. The order was taken quickly and delivered to the table quickly and it was correct. Theyhave an interesting menu. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I thought the hamburger patty was a little on the dry side, but itwas hot which is something that some local hamburger chains seem to be unable to accomplish. As we are coming up to the Christmas period, this is your annual reminder to be nice to people working in hospitality, even when... they get it wrong. Working countless hours, eating on your feet, missing out on festivities with friends and family and wearingyourself thin are things all hospitality workers will be familiar with over the next 2 months. So, if they do get it wrong, andyour coffee comes with the wrong syrup.. or they forget to swap your salad for chips, or, God forbid, you order no ice .. andyour drink comes with ice, just remember how hard they're working to try and make your experience special. I had more hopes getting dinner here. My husband asked if there was fry sauce in the Box and the drive thru worker straight out... lied to him and said yes even tho there wasn?t any. Paid $31 and they forgot my hamburger patty on my hamburger. I?m not sure wewill be returning. Read more
To those attacking "whiny complainers": I've given this new Apollo 3 tries. Once they were not open during posted hours (yes... this was AFTER the official opening of the store), the other two times I had the same experiences others have described, namelyemployees not understanding orders, wrong food, poorly prepared food. Time to close this store for a week, do some intensetraining and then re-open. I understand restaurants are short staffed and people can be mean. I worked fast food 4 years in highschool. So I'm not advocating being mean to employees. However prices are at record highs, and if you cant get what you orderor it's not edible when you do, you have the right to politely say so! Read more
If you like Apollo burger go to a different location. They missed food in our order. I had to repeat everything 3 times. And... the food was just not the quality I have had at numerous other locations. I?m sure some of it might be training and staffingissues since they just opened, but it needs to improve significantly before I try this location again. Read more
The lady at the drive thru didn't understand me. I had to repeat my order many times and they still got it wrong. When i got... to the window i waited at least 10 minutes. Got my food but it wasn't my food. They then had to look for my order which wasanother 10 minutes. Got home and my chicken salad was disgusting. The chicken, instead of being freshly done, was cold hardand cardboard like. I am guessing it was old chicken fingers they were supposed to toss but instead used for the salad. Thisis not the way to start a new place in the area if you actually want returning customers. Read more
This food was so good. Every time I come here with my friends it?s soo good. Probably the best food I had in Saratoga Springs... and I lived here for 6 years. I mean there have been some time for the food to come out. but it?s pretty understandable for it?spopularity because it just opened up. Read more
Usually I?m a huge fan of Apollo Burger and was excited to try this new location in Saratoga Springs. My daughter and I ordered... the gyro combos and overall they were really good. It?s what we get every time we eat at Apollo. On the very last bite of mygyro there was something extremely hard in the gyro meat. I felt like I cracked my tooth and was in extreme pain for the rest ofthe day. The next day my tooth cracked and a portion of it cracked off. The dentist looked at it and whatever I bit into was sohard it cracked my tooth. I won?t ever be ordering another gyro from Apollo again because having to go to the dentist and have atooth fixed was no fun especially because I hate the dentist. I guess the one bonus was that the food at least tasted good! Read more
