Reminded me of Chili's back when it was good 20 years ago!! I haven't been to Chili's in about 10 years due to them just going... downhill. Decided to give the new Saratoga location a try as we really liked Chili's in the early 2000's. We went for lunchand the restaurant side was packed, but we instantly got a table on the bar side. Waiter was excellent. Ordered chips/salsaand queso.....the queso is not was it used to be. Not horrible, but not the awesome queso of the past. We had a burger and achicken sandwich and both were excellent! A little heavy handed on the salt/pepper mix on the fries, but that could be personalpreference. There are mixed reviews about this location, so maybe we just got the good server/cook combination, but it wasexcellent. We'll be back and I hope it's a similar experience! Read more
First time ordering carry out at the Saratoga Springs location. I was brave and ordered on a busy Friday night. I ordered, came... 25 min later, pulled in the parking spot and checked in. An employee brought the food out in maybe 2 seconds. Food was hot.Restaurant was packed too. Way to go!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!! Read more
The food was fine, no issues. But the staff needs more training since it?s new. We were sat at a table with no waiter which... resulted in having issue after issue one after another. We had no silverware, no napkins, no straws, so we had to hunt downthese items ourselves. Appetizer arrived after we finished and paid the bill. DEFINITELY FELT LIKE THE GUINEA PIGS FOR THE NEW LOCATION? Let me just say this restaurant fails to uphold its reputation in... comparison other locations, I am not one to speak personally?but personally I don?t see the reason for this new location to evenexist when so many issues arose on my first visit. Let me just say I think I was working harder eating my disgusting food thanthe 10 employees sitting around doing nothing and talking extremely casually. Maybe I am just old but I am not one for thechange of aesthetic. Honestly I feel as if this change played a part in the mannerisms of the employees. One employee to makefocus of, was so casual they partook of the customers food next to me. Definitely have no interest of going again to thislocation. Read more
Definitely got a paid experience! Unfortunately the visit here was not as good as I was expecting. The place was over staffed... and the employees were louder than the customers. My server at the time didn?t seem fully trained and was unable to answer somesimple questions I had regarding my order, which eventually led up to my order getting messed up. I ordered buffalo wings andgot wings with a tiny side of buffalo sauce, like at that point it?s just chicken. Now the ranch and the texture of the chickenis it?s own thing but there is a very high possibility that the ranch was just oil and lard. So overall considering the price, Iwasn?t expecting such lousy service and poor quality food. Read more
Been a few times and this place is great! The staff are wonderful! But I do have a few things that reflect my 4 star review.... Soft opening, I noticed the restaurant is small- and been told that this is the way Chilis new locations will look, it?s nice-but very small! That being said, no high chairs with booths, only tables. So if you have babies/kids that need high chairs, youcould be waiting awhile- and bar area booths are not for 21+. This was the worst visit I have ever had at a Chili's. Granted, I haven't been to one in a long time, however, odd things... happened throughout the visit. Desserts came out before entrees. The chicken tenders were so overcooked/tough that it wasdifficult to but a piece off at all. Additional items that we did not order appeared on our check. Things that were included inthe pick three deal were still added as an additional charge. The server was friendly but obviously completely in over her head.She didn't know how to ring up the pick three deals or how to split checks. Eventually she brought a manager over to help afterwe had been done eating for almost 45 minutes. The manager asked a member of our party to come to the back to sort out thechecks and there still wound up being a charge for a margarita that should have been on there. We learned that "Utah doesn'tallow for discounts on alcoholic beverages" however, the menu shows that the one item is included. The manager said that theywere shipped a few menus intended for another state and they need to take them out of circulation and she would credit thatcheck, but she ultimately did not or forgot. After being there for two and a half hours for chicken tenders and burgers we allwere so itchy to leave we gave up and paid whatever the last configuration on the checks was. There were many tables leftdirty/unbussed while we were there, including ours during the entire check ordeal. This restaurant needs help! Read more
