Okay so here's the deal with Tenney's. Is it trying to be high class? No. Is it exceeding anyone's expectations? No. Is it going... to fill me and my family? Yes. Crust/toppings/cheese are all comparable to what I would describe as "rec center pizza."Everything you need when you're hungry, but not at all what you're looking for if you've got plenty of options. To be able to order a pizza and have it delivered to my house in under 30 minutes in Saratoga springs is unheard of! Tenney?s... made it happen in 28! POSITIVES: the customer service is pretty good when it came to fulfilling our specific requests. Nice cozy little place to sit... and enjoy lunch or dinner. The cheese on both the pizza and cheesey bread was phenomenal! Those bread slices were very airy andfluffy, which was great. NEGATIVES: two major things that let me down: the sauce on the pizza (which might be the same as thedipping sauce for the cheesey bread), which tastes almost too sweet. It's flavor was closer to ketchup than pizza sauce,although the consistency was fine. The crust was a bit of a let down. It reminded me of Little Caesars. I can not say enough about how amazing Tenney's is! If you have food allergies you HAVE to try their pizza. My wife can't have... gluten or dairy, so it's hard for us to find he a good pizza. But Tenney's has nailed it! And I think they are the only pizzaplace I've seen that has different sizes of gluten free pizzas. Most places just have small. Their normal pizzas are reallygood too, they may not look amazing, but they taste amazing! I keep meaning to get pictures to show how generous they are withtoppings, but we always forget because we are excited to dig in! One very minor improvement I'd suggest, since they do have alot of toppings their pizzas could be cooked a bit longer. Really disappointed! Generally things are at least ok here, but this time was not good! Hardly any cheese on the combo, hardly... any frosting on the cinnamon bread, and both were cold. Would have taken them back if not for the trouble, and my doubts itwould be any better. Recent visits have been gradually leading to poorer results. Not sure I'll be eating here any more. Read more
