Walked by and saw that they were doing a steak and lobster feature for $45. Really great value for a Friday night dinner. Only... one guy on table service (Parker), but he was a legend and made sure we were well taken care of. Terrible experience from beginning to end. Their QR menu is really hard to use, we had to open it many times. The waitress was... EXTREMELY rude since we got there. I asked if a replacement was possible and got a pout and a rude response. She also poutedwhen it took us more than two minutes to decide what to drink. Guess Canadians are not that friendly anymore. They have this bigred letters ad in the top of the Anytime menu advising that all dishes include a side dish. Too bad if you can’t see thelittle asterisk in two of the five dishes they have, because it means that the side only applies on this dishes and each sidecosts $5 CAD (yes, 5 dollars for a small cup of soup that I wouldn’t have ordered if the menu would have clearly stated sideswere not included in every dish). If two out of three people make the same mistake it means that something is wrong with yourmenu and not with us as the waitress implied (yes, we are not from Saskatoon or Canada but we are not stupid). The 14 CAD aperolspritz didn’t have soda. My friend ordered mussels and no one in the restaurant thought it was important to clean the tableand take the sells away before desserts. No one offered dessert and we had to leave the table and order them in the counter(good cakes though). And when we had trouble with the machine and our cards (because of course they don’t take americanexpress and why to bother in letting you know so beforehand or somewhere in the menu) and took us some more time to pay thewaitress was really annoyed. She couldn’t even made an effort to not roll her eyes. The food was average and expensive. Overrated and over priced place with terrible and rude service. Friendly staff as always. Food was good but can be better. I ordered the beef hanger with smashed potatoes which could've used... more seasoning and much more baby bok choy. Crispy onions we're a nice touch. Hubby had the risotto which was good but againneeds a bit more seasoning or more of the ricotta cheese to take it to the next level. Strawberry rhubarb sangria was a nice,light and refreshing drink. Thanks to our server for that recommendation! Wide selection of desserts but was disappointed tosee that my favorite schmoo cake was already sold out and it was only 7 pm when we got there! We'll be back again but just forthe usual dessert and latte... As long as they have the schmoo! Read more
Dress nice and bring a date. Both of which I didn't do... Nonetheless, Calories is indiscriminate and all inclusive of all... patrons despise state of dress or whatever accessories they bring. Good dinner, better lattes, best deserts. Come one, come all,and pack in the extra "Calories" Read more
Tried Calories for the first time and I must say it was an awesome experience. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The... selection for desserts is outstanding! Staff were great during my visit and the food tasted delicious. Drinks were also goodtoo. A must try if you’re in the area! Read more
Very cute restaurant. When we got there it wasn’t overly busy. We were able to quickly order our drinks, but it took awhile... to actually be able to order our food. The server did apologize for the delay. Oh my gosh. The food though. I wasn’t sureI was a fan of hollandaise sauce, but apparently I love it! And their hot sauce was also very good ???? Read more
Wow. Now this is a beautiful place on Broadway. I always passed this place and it looked really cool. But this time we went... there for desserts (Ordered some cheesecake) and it's like really cute place. The staff is really cool as well. They made ustry their lager before we order. Got the new lamb baguette - very good. Fries nice and crispy. Really excellent coffee. Got the chocolate celebration cake to go... - it was very good. Maybe a tiny bit dry, but it did sit cut in a box in the fridge for a number of hours, so that might not beon them. Very cozy place, and lovely staff. I’ll be back regularly! Read more
