Sat in the lounge with my wife. Had the steak sandwich which was just ok.. I felt like it maybe lacked a little seasoning. This was my watering hole for many years. This review is more on the lounge section. The restaurant is quite nice, I didn?t... spend much time there. If you do go, I don?t know which I liked better, breakfast food or that lemon chicken rice soup. Let metell you why I frequented this bar so often? Tony, good guy and he always has a smile on his face. ?Kristen? might be one of myfavourite people that ever lived. Good price for drinks, always have something on special and they make a pretty good pizza.Nice spot for you and a couple friends to have a couple drinks and eat some good food. Read more
Worst experience ever! Ordered Greek salad with calamari, shrimp scampi and kids pizza. There was literally 2 olives, 2 small... chunk of tomato, 2 small sliced round cucumbers, 1 teaspoon of feta with tons of lettuce. It was more of a Caesar salad. I wentthere to have a Greek salad with olives, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers ,feta cheese and onions. But this was so disappointing.The dressing was thick and gooey. The calamari was fat chunk of rubbery squid coated with old bread crumbs/ panko,greased withoil. I could taste the old crumbs. Shrimp scampi was again coated with old bread crumbs, and over cooked shrimp, kids pizza the crust was very hard. On top of it all, the waitress did not bother to ask how the food was ( maybe she knew it sucked anddid not want to take chance of hearing our experience) . Even during the payment, she did not bother to ask how the food was!Never going here. Read more
Our server was extremely friendly and service was excellent. It?s the kitchen that had problems on this visit. Food was fine,... but my pop drink had about 7-8 fruit flies in it! Didn?t notice from usual dinner conversation until I had almost completed mydrink. The server was just as shocked as I was and came back to say that they had a fruit fly problem in the kitchen (I thinkit was the ice) and that they were going to eliminate the situation. Of course they comp?ed me for my beverage, but weren?twilling to remedy it anymore than that. I know times are challenging right now, but any restaurant establishment better ensurethere?s no infestation in the food and drink they?re serving (hope the fruit flies weren?t in my food too) if they expect returnbusiness. I will not be returning to Kisavos again and taking my business elsewhere. All it takes is one bad experience(especially when not handled to the customer?s satisfaction) to end any further patronage at any business. Read more

Very happy with my experience at Kisavos Restaurant here in Saskatoon! The food was delicious if a tad basic (not that there's... anything wrong with that) the dry ribs were phenomenal! The service was prompt and very friendly and the atmosphere was great!My only gripe is that the beer selection was very limited (just Original 16 and Great Western Light.) If I had to give onesuggestion to the owners I'd recommend looking into having some local craft beers on tap. But overall an excellent experience,we will assuredly be back! Read more
