First time at Picaro's tonight. We weren?t sure what type of restaurant it was but we gave it a go and we were pleasantly... surprised. We came here without knowing much at all about this place and let's start by saying our waitress was awesome went outta her way... for us and was amazing and the food was to die for the alligator tacos were amazing and the octopus chorizo was delicious aswelland the pork (adobo) was delicious the guacamole coulda used a lil salt and lime maybe a little something extra but was stilldecent overall we came for tacos and we got amazing tacos we will be back not only cause the tacos were amazing but the servicewas great too Read more
Great visit! Had the chance to come here for dinner recently and it was fantastic. I opted for the chips & salsa trio to start... and the chorizo and octopus as well as a couple of the cocktails like the Betty White and El Diablo and I must say it?s one ofthe good ones! I had a great dining experience here this evening. I kicked things off with the chips and salsa. The spicy peanut salsa was... something I have never seen before and it was great. I then grabbed 2 rogue tacos which was a the pork belly right now. I alsohad the pork tacos which were great too. I wish I had saved some room as I would have liked to have tried the churro. Keep inmind they do last call around 915-930 so don't try and squeeze in too late before close. Would definitely recommend this placeand am likely to be back. Read more

Really great Latin/Mexican restaurant! Very friendly service, good cocktails, good Latin/south American wine selection and a... decent selection of bottled beers. Food was very good, we did get the "tomahawk steak" platter and found it to be plenty offood, it doesn't serve well as a taco meal. It was more of a plated meal to share. Awesome food, friendly staff, a beautiful interior, Picaro is a welcome addition to Saskatoons dining scene. Picaro has a... really nice variety of fun tasty Latin dishes. You can tell great care has been put into all the little things, and everythingis made from scratch. The tortillas for the tacos were the perfect texture, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Theshishito peppers were a really tasty starter. Don't leave without trying dessert too, churros are the bomb and the chocolatetacos are just plain fun! I have mixed feelings about this place. Waitress was super friendly but super slow. Drinks took 30-45 minutes per round. Food... was descent at best. $18 for 3 little tacos and $15 for a cocktail. Not sure this place is worth the money. Read more
