I went to Pig and Pantry, for the first time, on May 26. I was looking for quality beef jerky and decided to google it. A few... options came up but I thought I?d try Pig & Pantry and glad we did!! It was awesome!! I also bought a couple different cut ofsteaks. We tried the sirloin for supper, last night and it was absolutely amazing! I?m a fan and will be back for more meat!!! Read more

The amount you are charged compared to what you get is actually ridiculous. Was going to use them as a supplier, but the... portions of ground beef were all just under a pound. Using one of my usual burger recipes I barely even got half the amount ofburgers that I normally do. Not worth the price for how little you end up with. I will never go there again for my business. Iwas also sold a pack of ground beef on May 10 2022 only to see when I got home that they actually sold me an expired package.Which expired on May 1 2022. Needless to say they don't seem very food safe or even aware of any of the food safety regulationsif they allow something like that to happen. Absolutely unacceptable. Read more

Finally a solid butcher shop on this side of the river. Happy meat makes for a better, tastier meal, and they definitely get... happy meat. Ethically sourced, pasture-raised, the meat and various cuts are some of the best you'll find in the city! Thesausages are excellent! They even do porchetta sandwiches on Fridays. Jordan and his staff have an excellent selection of meats carried by no one else around, and they are actual butchers, not just... selling cuts of meat. Great sausages (their bratwurst is incredible, and I've lived in Germany!), the deli selections are yummy,and service is second to none! Read more
