Food Has Gone Down Hill! We ordered our usual from the Central Ave. location... with some extra dry ribs (they were on sale)...... 55 minutes later the food arrived and was luke warm at best. When I first called back to advise them about the situation, itwas easy to tell that they weren't interested in customer service or satisfaction, and they basically acted like there wasnothing they could do about it. After some persistence, they reluctantly offered to remake the order (...wait another hour withhungry kids..) or he would pass my name and number to the owner, who should be back on Monday (today is Friday). When I askedabout why the owner wasn't there, the person on the phone said "what do you think, he's in the kitchen cooking with us?", whichI thought was very rude and disrespectful to a paying customer. Also don't order the dry ribs as they were mostly tiny littlepieces of breading with barely any meat. I used to rave about this pizza and tell my friends and family how good it was.. but ithas steadily gone down hill over the last year. I could sense the impatience of the man on the phone but I don't blame him this is great flippin pizza ! Pumping out these large... meat brick pies out for us delivered to my door I got nothing to complain about once it's arrived. Verns has no competion asit's the best. Read more
Unfriendly service, paid for extra cheese on the salad and was charged for it but it was regular on it. And no salad dressing!... Pizza was amazing Read more
Ooooh man!!! I am upset at verns pizza!!! They have wrecked pizza for me to be able to order from anywhere else. What they are... doing is so above and beyond and over the top from anywhere else that, I just don't want any other pizza anymore except forVerns. Seriously, order 1 slice of the t-rex, and 1 slice of Verns special, and you are stuffed. If you continued to eatanother 2, you would need a wheel chair for the rest of the night.
