Went to Winston’s for the first time in April while passing through Saskatoon and thought it’d be a cool place to check out.... We sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The bartender (bald man?) was quite rude and didn’t seem to be interested in makingconversation. He seemed to be more interested in watching cartoons on the tv. We ordered a sour beer on tap and it was awful, Ihad 3 sips of the beer and mentioned it tasted off.. he didn’t seem to care. We paid our tab and left.. I’ve never wasted abeer like that but I’m telling you the beer tasted sickening. Overall, the place has a really cool vibe to it but it’s ashame that the lack of compassion for the guests had to be a factor. Read more

We had the beef and grog and it was fantastic. My wife says it was the best beef sandwich she's ever had. Server was attentive,... knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was the perfect taste bud overload after thebeef sandwich and poutine. We'll be back. Read more
The Saskatchewan summer drink was pretty good . The atmosphere was great good perfect lighting not too dim not too bright and... good ventilation. Good place to hang out and have a few drinks. These were at really low prices too. Read more

Where to begin? This place is so poorly run that the staff sit talking at the bar but it takes forever to get noticed and place... an order. Drink Menu's are updated regularly but don't reflect actual inventory, they are often out of beers listed as availablethe same day the menu is printed ( date at the bottom). They didn't have prices listed for the different beer selection or drinksizes this last visit. The website is rarely accurate regarding the menu or prices. The food's ok, if you get it served soonenough but it's average bar quality at best. I've been coming here to Winston's for over 20 years and this place is a shell ofits former self. Read more
