Its ok. The location is great. The ability to use a few canoes/kayaks is cool, but the paddles are mostly worn out. The bbq's... will not burn consistently or not at all (old and worn down af). Bathrooms are quite small and for germaphobes. And a not sopleasant interaction with one of the staff. Pleasant and helpful service alone, could definitely bring up the standings. Goodprice tho. And good local grocer across the street with fair prices too. Read more
If you're looking for a great stay right by the river in Sauble -- this is it!! You can't beat the location -- wake up with a... view of the water, enjoy your coffee on the dock, borrow a canoe and paddle down the river or one of the bikes and headdowntown. The new owners have done a great job with the renovations -- the rooms are clean and comfortable, newly painted andfurnished with new beds and linens and they are super helpful and accommodating. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable -- we willrecommend to friends and hope to come back for some rest and relaxation on the river. Read more
I went here Summer 2021 and I've been missing it ever since. The owners are very courteous, and have anything you might want -... boats, a grill, etc. - available. The river was a scene straight from a dream. And of course for beach goers, Sauble Beach isonly a hop away. Overall one if my favourite vacations and I hope to go back there someday. Read more

We stayed there from July 15 to July 17. We wished we could've stayed more. It's a beautiful place with spectacular view. Rooms... are spacious and clean. It's highly recommended. We will be back again for sure?? Read more
Location: Perfect - this is located on the less busy side of sauble beach, its about a 5 minute drive from the "welcome to... sauble beach sign" at the very end of the road that runs parellel to the beach itself. Quiet, calm tucked away but also closeenough to walk or ride your bike to the beach Building: Is on the older side, its rustic and charming, don't expect a modernsleek building, think cottage cozy, They have some vending machines, ice, and parking. As well as some free bike rentals if youwant to use them. Room - We stayed in the water front facing double bed (with 2 double beds) at the very end of the building,It was extremely comfortable and quiet with lots of privacy for me and my girlfriend. The water front rooms have a balcony withsome chairs you can sit on to have coffee or hang out - well worth it. The room itself was spacious and clean, the walls andcarpet were a bit on the older side but it was charming. The beds were firm and comfortable with plenty of pillows and freshlinens. Inside our room was a bar fridge, an AC, and a microwave, as well as a coffee machine. Everything you would expect froma hotel/motel and they were all working well. The bathroom was also clean and functioning fine with lots of towels for us touse. Staff - Extremely friendly and warm. We were arriving late on a friday after the office was closed so the owner texted usand made sure our room would be available for us when we got there. The rooms were so cozy and comfortable with the most serene environment. The hospitality was second to none as well. The owners...
