Basmati rice was colorful well separated tender and had two spices in it that were unfamiliar but deliciously unique to my... tastebuds. Side salad was very good included was pickled veges. Lamb gyro portion size was decent ,tasted good , but way toosalty and might've been overcooked and/or not fresh(leftovers prepared/cooked in a batch from previous day. Food is like a kiss on the forehead from your Mom. A must if you are in the area ! Unassuming place, but the food delivered.... Flavorful dishes - we ordered Samosa chaat, chicken makhani, and chaan saag. Generous portions and you're served directly fromthe Chef. Read more
Very sweet owners/woman chef. Accommodating and gracious even tho it was close to closing. Made efforts to get something kids... would like (recommended butter chicken). Masala Chai tea was good. The Lassi looked good but I didn't want to buy in plastic. Read more
Went here today during the car show. Wasn?t expecting much just wanted somewhere to sit and eat. This food was AMAZING!!! My... boyfriend said it was the best gyro he?s ever had and my sandwich was cooked to perfection. We live in poughkeepsie and woulddefinitely make the drive to come eat here again. The Chicken Tikka sandwich with hand cut fries was delicious, and the hot wings were fantastic! Definitely try the mango lassi.
I had to check this place out, since the resturant shares half of my name. Lol Only need one word to describe this... place....Delish!!! The chef recommended the Indian scramble and I am so happy I took his advise. The eggs were seasoned with avariety of spices and peppers. My taste buds were more than happy!!! Delicious fresh American & international lunch menu, prepared with love by a lovely Indian family. Super green salads,... sandwiches, gyro, chicken sandwiches, etc. And then after 5 pm, the cafe turns into an Indian dinner cafe. This is a new placein Saugerties - catch it before it?s discovered! Stopped by for a quick bite on our way to Hunter Moutain. Loved it. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding.
