I came back to dining at this charming and warmly inviting restaurant after many years , with a lovely memory of the owners... opening days ; how delicious and authentic, wholesome and clean and most of all delicious all the uniquely personal( andtraditional )recipes and preparation of various dishes ? they have not only held that high mark in my tastebuds and tummiesesteem , but have certainly become better with time as they have always deeply cared about the food they serve and the pride isthere in the food and in the jovial and excellent table service . Go alone , you will be happily comforted by the fine diningand drinks , go with a group of any size ? they have nice outdoor dining during warm months ? but go , if you have a chance ,it?s a wonderful family run restaurant , and affordable prices ? can?t beat that combination!! Great service. They make you feel like family. Large space for large parties. Outdoor porch for sunset dining. Guacamole is... wonderful and they make their own tortillas! The churros are a must. Visiting the area & this popped up in our search for good Mexican foods & we weren't disappointed. Very friendly staff, very... attentive and the food was tasty too. Was happy we found this place. Made the family vacation that much more fun! The onlyreason I didn't give a 5 star rating is bc I'm very into ethnic tastes & feel it was more adjusted to local taste buds. Stillgood, just lacked that seasoned grilled flavor found in a Mexican catered community. I still highly recommend! Read more
It the only restaurant coming from Kaaterskill falls hiking. We were seated quick as we entered the restaurant. We ordered large... Chips and salsa for $5. Usually they offered free in other Mexican restaurants. The chip portions was small too for theprice. Sorry guys, Horchata is not available. Not that kind of authentic Mexican spot. Average entrée was $15. Over priced forthe portion sizes. The food flavor is average savory. Nothing exceptional that would stand out. Maybe will come again. Or not.
