It was our families first time here last night . Someone accidentally forgot to write our reservation down , but the owner and... staff made us feel so comfortable while we waited . Free drinks , gave us chairs and an area to sit and wait . And then once wewere seated the food was so quick to come out . The owner came over multiple times to Make sure we were good . My wife, daughter and I decided to try this restaurant out. Only regret is not going here much sooner. Staff is fantastic, and... honestly over-attentive, if that's possible. Nice quiet atmosphere, and all of our dishes were fabulous. Highly recommend thisrestaurant without any reserve. All jobs well done! And, they hire all local people. Today was our first visit to The Avenue for Sunday brunch. I found it difficult to find out when exactly the restaurant had... brunch and found today online that it is the first Sunday of each month. I also had difficulty finding the brunch menu, so I amattaching photo of menu with my review. The inside of the restaurant is quite welcoming nicely decorated and clean. Our waiterwas nice enough sorry he never told us his name. Service was timed, not rushed and we were given an opportunity to enjoy ourBloody Mary's before our food arrived. I had the deluxe which included a nice size shrimp, bacon and pickled veggies. Ienjoyed the Crab cake Benedict and my husband had the Avenue Breakfast burrito. We each took 1/2 of our entrees home, more foodthan we could have in one sitting. The entrees were accompanied by a lovely salad with a light vinaigrette dressing, burritohad fries and Benedict had delicious potato/onion/pepper mixture. Absolutely incredible meal at The Avenue. The dry-aged strip steak had amazing flavor, was cooked perfectly, and was massive.... The creamed spinach was the best I?ve ever had. The calamari was also cooked exceptionally well and was light and tender.Tartufo rounded out the meal well. Highly recommend. Read more

Excellent food - mediocre service. Took us 30 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine. The bartender is much more fixated on handling... her guests at the bar than fulfilling the service tickets so expect to wait a while. When we asked her if it was coming soon shesaid ?it?s on its way? but then the server came to let us know that wine is out of stock. Lol so I guess it wasn?t on its wayafter all? Just a warning to anyone used to more efficient service, come in expecting to wait a while for everything. But ifyou have time to kill the steaks are really great. Read more
