Family dinner at the Mill on a Thursday night. Service was polite and friendly although very slow. Burrata salad was... EXCELLENT! One cocktail was ordered - ridiculously tiny for the price. Mule's should never be served in a champagne glass!! For dinner we ordered two steaks, one pasta dish, and a kids chicken fingers. Steaks were good although not exactly cooked toorder. Pasta was tasty. Salmon was tender but lacked any kind of seasoning. Kids fingers seemed homemade - which was nice.Overall, nice restaurant in Saugerties. Read more
Lovely venue with a view, amazing food and cocktails, and attentive staff. Outdoor covered patio has a beautiful view of the... river - and they allow dogs. Menus is creative and they source local produce and beer. Try the Keegan Ale options - esp JoeMama’s Milk Stout. Was too excited to take pictures of the entrees ???? Read more
Went for Anniversary Brunch. View was amazing! Food was amazing! My husband had the banana and strawberry bruscetta and the... hueavos Ranchero. I had the egg croissant and lemon pancakes. The view and the service are wonderful. We expected a lot more from the food. It was of acceptable quality but not great (which... was the expectation) and not in any way creative. The asparagus salad was outright boring despite the added grilled salmon. TheOG pizza belonged on the kids menu (too plain. Trader Joe’s supermarket pizza is more delicious). Pavlova dessert was not bad.Chicken nuggets we got for our son from the kids menu were the only item we enjoyed and we really wished we loved the adult foodinstead. True apologies to the chef but they need to step up their game. The view calls for an improvement in the foodexperience. Read more
We were very disappointed with our experience. We went for dinner and were surprised to see only 2 other parties on a warm... Friday night. We both ordered the NY strip medium rare, but they were medium well, almost well done. The potatoes and corn thatcame as sides were very bland. We were expecting higher quality food to reflect the high price point. The water tasted likeplastic, and the rolls were similar to those you would get in a school cafeteria. We were excited to try this restaurant as itcomes across "fancy", but it is absolutely not worth the money. We did enjoy the views and appreciated the host and servers'friendliness. Read more
Had a lovely experience at Diamond Mills for their Thanksgiving set menu. It was reasonably priced for the quality of food we... received, and lots of staff being attentive. It’s set in a lovely location and the restaurant itself is open, airy, andclean. My only *slight* criticism would be that when the server took our first drink order my partner ordered a non-alcoholicbeer and we were brought a light beer (still alcoholic) and we only realised after pouring it into the glass. I did tell theserver immediately, and I understand that mistakes happen (The server was also very young so could just be inexperience) - Iwould just advise to be more careful in the future. Went with a group of friends. Overall was an ok. We have been here numerous times and yet to be impressed. As I don’t mind... paying for food and drink what I expect is that the service and quality match my cost. Sitting in the bar with a bartenderhaving a tough time. For a slower night the service was very slow. Food was ok nothing special except the grilled Caesar saladwas amazing. Read more
