I had been to the predecessor, The Roxbury Tavern, on a number of occasions, and On the Rox retains the small-town charm of the... original, while offering a wide array of delicious specialty pizzas plus there are *goats*?! Amazing! Potato skins as anappetizer were delicious! For an entree I got the "personal" size (more than enough!) Italian Beef pizza- a wonderfulcombination of toppings that frankly I'm surprised is not offered at more pizza restaurants! Deep dish pizza this is not- thecrust is thin, crispy, and delicious, a perfect vessel for the toppings to shine! The others in my group had a build-your-ownpizza, and a taco salad, both of which they enjoyed as well. Overall, the food and especially drink prices were veryreasonable, considering the current economic situation. Very happy to support a local business, and I'll be back when I'm intown! Read more

Very nice clean place, cute goats outside! The food was very quick and very good. We got a 12in pizza and a pulled beef... sandwich. We also got the spinach dip which was also very good. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. Quick drinkrefills! Read more
A very fine update of the legendary Roxbury Tavern. Bigger bar and lots of patio seating. Friendly staff and great thin crust... pizza. Fun goats in the area out back. Loved seeing the old bar reused in the space. Fun place to visit! Read more
Great little place. pizza was fantastic, staff was very nice. Friendly atmosphere with other people in the bar. Having the goats... is interesting, there?s a live feed in the restaurant you can watch them play on the roof. Great place and will definitely comeback. Read more
