This is one of the greatest breweries in most of wisconsin. Vintage offers quality craft beers at a reasonable price with a menu... that compliments every aspect. The staff is super friendly, very punctual and always stays on top of your orders. I would travelmultiple hours just to come to the Vintage in Sauk city. A must stop for anybody within the area! Rather disappointing. We ordered two varieties of their bluegill dishes--the basket and the po boy. Firstly, they mixed up the... sides between the two orders. And secondly, aside from the fries, nothing was particularly good. The fish was rather flavorlessand the bun on the po boy looked like it came from a grocery store. The Brussels sprouts were charred and dry. The slaw wasokay. Service was good. We were seated promptly and our waitress was very attentive and cheerful. But the food was really amajor disappointment. A local brewery with delicious food? Nice! The Thai salad has crispy lettuce and juicy grilled chicken (I ate a chunk before I... took the photo). The sauce was also delicious. It?s ?Midwestern? spicy: flavorful without making you sweat. Pretty good beer, too. Great service. Compliments to the chef! Read more

This is a beautiful place. It's really big inside and outside too. We just had a few beers but they serve food and wine. The... beer selection is great and the service was exceptional. You can also just bring home your own growler or crawler if you don'twant to sit down. We had fun and we'll be back. Read more

I write this understanding the industry is struggling short staffed and finding good help, so it's just feedback based on our... experience. It looks like many have enjoyed their food and drink. We called in our order because we couldn't get onlineordering to work. We were told they weren't doing online ordering because they were too busy. The problem was, we went throughour entire order twice online to no avail. When hitting checkout, nothing. This was pretty frustrating. No messages like "nottaking online orders" or maybe they could just shut down the entire online ordering so folks don't even see it? This is thesecond time this has happened with a restaurant, so it could be an issue on the software end? So, we call. Terrible connectionon their end with so much noise. We had to repeat several times. Finally got our order of Fire on the River Burger, but withfried chicken and a side of veggies. Also, a chef's cut Steak Sandwich with fries. On pick-up. The order was ready when wearrived. The food: Appetizer: Rip Rip Chicken. We recommend this as an appetizer. Very tasty. Mains: My order was wrong andmade with a fake-grilled chicken patty that you get through food service companies. I think if it had been fried it would havebeen less noticeable. There was plenty of tasty bacon on the sandwich. The side of green beans were okay, but very greasy. TheSteak Sandwich indicated chef's cut, so the assumption was that it would be a piece of steak. Rather is was thinly sliced.Overall flavor was good and the sweet potato fries were good. Return? Maybe. Probably not for the food. Haven't tried the beerbut I hear it's really good! Read more

Our new favorite place. We saw this brewery when passing over the bridge and decided to check it out. So glad we did! They have... a large beer selection, brewed in house, and a good selection of food. We were pretty hungry and decided to sample a fewdifferent things off the menu. Let me just start by saying, they DO NOT skimp on the portions! We started with the pulled porknachos which is a must get, especially if you have 2 or more people. It was huge and sooo good! Next came the sandwiches. He gotthe crispy bufflo chicken sandwich and I got the caprese panini both with the sidewinder fries. Both very good! Let's just saywe had leftovers for the next days lunch AND dinner!! All the beers we tried were great as well (good selection of IPA's if yourlike me), not to mention they make their own old fashion style sodas which were equally as good! Besides the food and drink, theplace itself is nice. Located right off the river, it has dining room style, deck, and bar seating. Also get to know yourbartender. Ours was really knowledgeable about the beers and the brewery! We will definitely be back soon! Read more
