Pulled in late on a Monday night after a 7hr drive, only expecting to find some big box resto open. Saw this place and violated... local traffic laws to duck in. It paid off. Great food. Cold beer. Had the escargots to start and the prime Rib sandwich. Both excellent. Skip the house salad though. Vanessa was prompt and measured with her service, neither remote norobtrusive. Our waitress was unbelievably friendly, which made the experience much nicer. She had great recommendations, for dishes to... order, as-well as fun places to go and find around the city, as we are just visiting. The food was delicious, each dish weordered as a group, we were very impressed. I ordered the salmon, which was super tasty. Out of four dinner meals one was correct. Sent back they reheated and added what was missing. Then to charge us for the add ons... that were to be on the original order. Meals were not prepared the way they were reflected on the menu. It took for ever to tryto get the bill rectified. Manager did not even attempt to try to appease us. I have always highly recommended this restaurantand was one of my first choice when dinning out. Read more
