We Ate dinner here about 7 years ago. When we visited Sausalito again, we knew we wanted to go back. We started with White... Sangria and a Margarita. The Margarita was lighter and not as sweet as most and was very refreshing. The white Sangria hadtequila in it, so it wasn’t the best because I don’t care for tequila, but if you do you might like it. We shared thechips, salsa (2 kinds) and guacamole. The chips were great. The salsa verde was very flavorful. The dark salsa had quite achipotle Smokey flavor. The guacamole didn’t have a lot of seasoning. I ordered the Coconut Campechano with scallops, shrimpand flounder. It came with chips as well. The coconut was very light and blended very well with the other ingredients. My friendordered the chicken tinga tacos. She didn’t love the seasoning but thought they were good. Great service and location!! Read more
Located in sausalito this Mexican place is a good option for a decent meal. Their drink menu seems to be bigger than their food... menu(!).Portions are decent, service is fast, taste is good. Has limited outdoor seating, inside seems a lot cramped. Read more
The tortilla soup was delicious and very filling! They give a generous portion of shredded chicken and tortilla strips! The... guacamole tastes fresh with minimal additives! And the chips are thin and crispy AND ADDICTIVE. I did also taste the pork bellytacos and thought they were a bit dry. Overall I’ll come back. The vibe is great! We first found Copita a number of years ago when we stopped in Sausalito on a Cruise Ship tour to Muir Woods. We loved it and... have now made it a traditional to stop there for a meal whenever we fly into San Francisco and drive up to Napa. Delicious food,super friendly staff and amazing margaritas. Stopped in here as I was craving tacos. Sat at the bar. The bartender was awesome and he made some really tasty margaritas. The... wife ordered tortilla soup, which was awesome, and I had the quesabirria, which was really awesome. The sauce they serve it withis crazy good. Overall Great! Good modern Mexican dining. Good location and very nice ambiance to begin and staff are welcoming and greeted... well to make it comfortable experience. Starters were made to perfection. The main course came in just as we finished starters,like perfectly choreographed. Food presentation is well done, thumbs up. Tasted like a good Mexican restaurant. Nothingdifferent than any good Mexican else where. Can they improve on the taste a tad bit and make it the best? Sure they can try. What a lovely dining experience! Dragged my whole family here since we were hungry. I actually could share with my mother.... An... experience I usually never get as a celiac. The food was well seasoned, generous meat and fish portions, friendlywaitress....and reasonable prices. If I wouldnt live several thousend kilometers away I would be back frequently. Read more
