I love Sausalito! Any time I’m here I always make sure to end the day at Trident with its magnificent cityscape view of SF.... The seafood is by far the freshest I’ve ever had, besides that one time me and granny was stuck out on the pacific and we hadto make due. When you walk in I love to sit by the far right just along the corner of the restaurant which gives meunobstructed view while I devour my meal and relax to the sway of the water. P.S The drinks will surely get you ???????? Read more

Free parking if you eat at the restaurant, the host will validate your ticket as you leave. Service was pretty slow and we never... received bread like other tables were, which was extra disappointing since we ordered the cioppino. They also push the 22oz beerwhich is more expensive per oz than the 16oz beer. Read more

Brick chicken was not cooked properly, some how it was uncooked in the middle. We waited for half an hour and got something... below our exceptions. The taste was also not favorable probably due to lack of enough spices and flavoring. Cheeseburger wasgood though. By the way,the restaurant view is awesome. ???? Read more

Visited Sausalito last weekend with the family. We had a delicious late lunch. The food was pretty tasty. Burger and fries were... fantastic. I usually don't eat many fries but I finished them all. The calamari was good and crispy. The deviled eggs with baconwere good but the crab ones were a little blander. The shishito peppers were delicious. I could have gotten another of those. The lobster roll was OK. A lot of bread and the lobster pieces were really small so it gave it a Tuna sandwich texture. ThePaloma was good. I had 2 of those. And of course the view was beautiful. I was a clear sunny afternoon. The service was decent.A couple of lagging moments but they were very polite and accommodating. Read more

Enjoy your meal with a beautiful view of the SF skyline. We enjoyed our meal on the patio, which made for a lovely environment.... We ordered the fried calamari, spinach salad, and crab cakes. Our food was very well cooked, and we enjoyed great service fromthe staff. Food was on the pricier side, but the great view made it worthwhile. The Trident also offers valet parking in caseyou have trouble finding public street parking. Very conveniently located near other shops in Sausalito. Read more

Went around lunch time with some girlfriends in late May. Sat on the patio next to the water and had a great view of the city.... The Bloody Mary was excellent with quite the presentation! We had an amazing waiter who told us some fun hidden gems about thehistory and architecture of the joint and some of the famous regular patrons of the establishment. Good food, great atmosphere(look at the ceiling and all the woodwork) and friendly staff!! Read more

I was disappointed in my recent visit to the Trident. First off, the location and the view are both incredible, and I wanted to... enjoy our meal to match the ambiance. Service was slow and not overly friendly (not horrible but the waitress didn’t really goout of her way to check on us or ask how the meal tasted). I ordered the lobster roll which was disappointing. The lobster meatwas minimal and the bread was stale. The accompanying greens were decent and the dressing was especially good. My partnerordered the lobster tail and didn’t really care for it (I didn’t try it so I couldn’t tell). The clam chowder showedpromise but the sourdough bread bowl it was served in didn’t taste fresh. My children’s’ meals were actually nicelypresented with fries, fruit and salad. Their main course was chicken fingers and they are not normally picky eaters but theythought the chicken tasted rubbery. The bartender working that evening was very friendly, which was as a nice way to cap off adisappointing meal. All in all, I was expecting a better culinary experience to pair with the ambiance but unfortunately theTrident fell short on this occasion. Read more

The view was stunning more than 180 degrees of beautiful bay views including San Francisco skyline. The food was almost as good... which is saying a lot. My favorite was the lobster roll, the lobster was not over cooked, there was not to much dressing on itto so the flavor came through and it was very rich mouth feel. The green salad was fresh, leaves still crisp while fully coatedin a light dressing that was a simple vinaigrette. The calamari tasted house battered and tender. I didn’t partake in theoysters however my table mates ate them quickly enough it’s clear they were enjoying them. Read more
