How can I even start, the restaurant had maybe four tables being used so it wasnt busy by any means. I was in the restaurant... business doing high volume bartending for nearly 13 years and this looked like a monday morning shift that should of been ableto handled. We waited at the entrance of the restaurant for a few minutes for anyone to greet us. We were told to pick out abooth or table and they would send someone right over to us. Even more confusion set in when we were looking at tables that hadsigns on them saying that they were sanitized but clearly had used cups, empty trays and even half eaten food on the tables. Wefound a cleared off table and sat but waited nearly 35 minutes for anyone to come great us or take a drink order. There werethree servers that constantly walked by. We received our drink order but it was wrong, a water, a diet coke (received a regularcoke) and a kids milk. The server checked back right away not giving us anytime to even look at the menu. Then proceeded to wait25 minutes to take our order, even though we tried flagging him down two times and while he made eye contact and a nod toconfirm he would be right over. It was simple, a kids hotdog with a fruit cup, an order of the pretzels and an order of thesweet potato tots and the crispy chicken sandwich with french fries. The server let us know they were out of fruit so we saidapplesauce would be fine. The food came, the hot dog was cold, and received a fruit cup that wasnt fresh fruit but rather oneyou get from a doles pack for school lunches instead of applesauce, chicken sandwich with fries and pretzel bites. We asked himwhere the sweet potato tots were and he said that he gave us fries instead. Umm ok, the sweet potato tots were not for theperson ordering the chicken sandwich. We were a bit confused when asked to walk out of the restaurant to order (we entered through the restaurant doors, not Hy-Vee).... We both ordered a burger and onion rings, sweet potato tots and fried pickles as an appetizer. Positives: Food tasted good andthe fried pickles and tots were hot. Negatives: We both ordered our burger well done, and both got pink cool burgers. The onionrings were ice cold. All the food came out at the same time, including the appetizer. We were intrigued that one tv screenshowed the kitchen staff making your food... The kitchen worker (who had told us he was the manager when he brought out ourfood) wasn't wearing gloves and picked up something from the floor and tossed it in the trash, then returned to making foodwithout washing their hands. Doubtful that we'll go back. 2 burgers, 2 sides, 2 sodas and one appetizer with tip cost $60. Read more
Wow. I don't even know where to begin. - Long wait times, I'm talking long. It took about 5 minutes to even be greeted, and... about 30-60 minutes to be served. - Incorrect Service. Asked for sauce on the side, did not receive it. - Did not correctlybill items. I was charged for a "free" item. Was supposed to get a free kid's meal, but server charged me anyway, I only caughtit because of the next negative point. - Did not give me the entire order. I ordered 2 entrees and a kid's meal. Somehow, theysplit my ticket into two so it was in two separate to-go bags, but they did not inform me or the person expediting the item. Ihad to drive back to pick up the rest of my items AFTER I had gotten home. - Service so mediocre. First server was pleasant totalk to, but he incorrectly billed me. Second server, who delivered my food and helped me get sorted on being billed wrong,barely spoke a word and was combative when I asked why I was billed for the kids meal. The manager, who helped me, wasalright. - Food was incredibly expensive for the portion, and it wasn't even good. Literally any burger place would bebetter. If I had gotten hit with any one of these, I would've been fine. But all at once? When I'm hungry? Yeah, pass. Sundayafternoon during a lunch rush and there's barely anyone here. I wonder why. They charged $16 for a burger that is half the size of a smash burger. It literally looked like a slider and fit in the palm of... my sons hand. I asked if we could just get a refund so we could go somewhere else and was told no I would have to give them myinfo and wait for a call from a manager. So I gave them my info and of course no call was received. This place used to be goodbut now they are cutting out the quality of the food but still charging the same money. Trust me on this don?t go there it wasby far the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. Read more
I'm so stuffed.... I can barely write this review. The Fiesta burger is great. Add more jalapeños if you want it more spicy.... Think I'm going to have to roll myself home. The fries are fast food quality but the tater tots make up for the friesundesireability. Also need to add that the buns were meh. Probably a little bit less meh then the emoji meh. I ordered the Bacon Arugula Salad to go. When I opened it up I thought they had only given me arugula, the very few toppings... provided were all underneath. For a $10 salad I just expected a whole lot more. For what it?s worth, the man that took myorder was very kind. That?s the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Read more
This new system of ordering outside the restaurant and seating yourself then waiting for them to find you is ridiculous. We... ordered got one of our beverages to take with us and was told they'd bring the other to the table. We got our food mentionedthe missing coffee and asked for 2 waters, the person brought 1 water and said the coffee and 1 more water would be thereshortly. We finished our meals sat there and finally went up to get a refund on the coffee. The food was good but theexperience and service lacked big time. This used to be a great place for a quick bite but i guess that's gone now. There werebarely any customers in there and it took a while for food to come! Last time going there. Read more
