This was my first visit and will definitely be my last. I don't know if it is this location, but everything was a hot mess. It... was the worst I have tasted in a long time. The macaroni should not be for human consumption it taste like it came straight outof a can.The twice baked potato taste like they used sliced cheese and too much butter. I couldn't even eat it. This foodliterally taste like it was cooked with pure hate. The only thing edible was the fries and that says alot. A whole 45 dollarmeal gone straight in the trash. Read more

Carey Hillards never disappointed me. I get the same thing every time I eat there. Fan tail shrimp, fried oyster, fried fish or... scallops with a cheddar bake and green beans. Everyone is always nice when I visit. I usually go to the abercorn location. Read more
I went to order dinner to eat for the day and as iwalk in it was like all the employees had a smile on their faces and customer... service was great and the food was awesome, I was amazed how a place of business have their employees focus on their job withprofessional curiosity, thank you Carey Hillard I definitely will return furore of that great service. Ordered two grilled shrimp salad and a fried chicken salad. I had to ask for the dressings even though they were on the order.... Got home and the lids were not on securely two of the dressings and the dressings for the other still did not make it into thebag. First time customers and treated so kindly. From the hostess to our server, Dixie, all the staff were found to be polite. The... decor is a bit rustic and fairly cared for. Wheelchair access was good for an older building. However, we almost missed afantastic meal because the parking lot was a bit confusing for us and the handicapped spots are too narrow. But oh the food wasreally good! I had the best fried oysters I've had in probably 20 years. My wife had the fried shrimp that had been done toperfection. Great value for lunch (we both had the single side option). It won't be long before we return to Carey Hilliards. Read more
Enjoyed the restaurant and the service. Had shrimp and flounder both good. Service I received was good and friendly. ... Cost was about as expected. Was not ask about dessert. So did not try any. Would have been 5 star if things were just abit better. Over all good. Will try again soon when back in Savannah. Read more
Unprofessional environment. FRIED FANTAIL SHRIMP are not SPLIT and are not cleaned and deveined. Shrimp this big gotta be... cleaned.. They went up 3 dollars for this and they don't even CLEAN,split the shrimp up and Devein it. MACARONI IS NOTHOMEMADE. It's noodles with cheese sauce packets really generic because the cheese is not real it congeals. Long wait for food. Read more
