We came to GA to move our son home. We had a huge trailer hitched to the back of our car. We do not usually have a trailer and... did not feel confident taking it through the drive thru. Went to the window that said order and were told we could only use thedrive thru. Explained the situation and she said people do it all the time. We are only doing drive thru. Super rude service!!We took that as you did not want our service. Posted a pic of the order and pick up window. Pathetic! Checkers has definitelygone downhill. Thanks for no help! Read more
Love, love this checkers. The workers are always very nice and get our order correct every single time. I?m pregnant and very... wary about eating fast food since it?s landed me in the hospital before, but never here. This is one of the only fast foodplaces nearby that I trust to eat at! Read more
Horrible!!! I came in to town to visit the beach and stopped by here on the way out. There were several issues, first they... advertised a menu item that they didn?t even have. I then ordered two BACONZILLA burgers and asked for them with only mustardand pickles. So she asks me what do you want on the burger and we?ll get it worked out. So fast forward I get my food and I endup with two plain burgers with mustard and pickles. Again keep in mind I ordered a BACONZILLA, and what?s missing from myburgers BACON! So I go back around and tell her she got everything right but the bacon. This young lady literally says ? well Iasked you what you want on the burger? never in my life did I know someone to be so illiterate that I have to explain that Iwant bacon on my BACONZILLA. Next problem I had was once we determined the issue I was charged for the bacon that should haveoriginally been on my burgers. I then leave and try to eat and let?s just say this is the first time I?ve been to a checkers andthe food was horrible. It was like I was eating a rubbery patty very sloppy and tasteless. The sprite I ordered also had apretty awkward mold like taste. As if the drink nozzles have never been cleaned once. I say all this to say a a few hours laterI end up hurled over a toilet literally sick from the food I ordered at this establishment. This place has the worst customer service I?ve ever had in my life. We pulled in with people in front and behind us so we were... by no means the last person of the night. Their website said they close at 11 and we were there at 9:20. When we pulled up weasked for a moment to look at the menu(as I had never been to a checker?s before), we were very rudely told that no we may notsince they were about to close. We apologized and as quick as possibly tried to order. At the end we requested our order be readback to us because we were unsure if we mistakenly ordered something twice (as we felt rushed). The women scoffed and startedYELLING the order at us. We were nothing but nice and apologetic(even though we had done nothing wrong). We ended up leavingwithout getting our food. Instead of just driving off, my husband nicely stopped to just let them know we changed our mind(eventhough I was so upset I didn?t even want him to say anything and just drive off), the same lady rudely said ?yeah we knew thatalready?. The workers here are very rude and don't wear hairnets or gloves--just this evening I glanced through the drive-thru window to... see someone flip their extremely long hair over the deep fryer. They've gotten our order wrong the past 3-4 times we've comehere in the past several months, which is super unfortunate because the food is quite good. We just came here for dinner, wewere the only ones in line as the place was dead and it took them 25 minutes to get our food out while they stood around ontheir phones. I'm always willing to give places a few chances because I've personally worked several fast food jobs and I knowhow stressful it can be, but these people seem to just not care at all.
