This restaurant is unique in the way it offers a rooftop bar for casual dining and an upscale elegant area to dine out. This... restaurant gets a little busy and the staff isn’t as attentive but they make up for it in the food. The crab cakes are awesomeand a must try. The menu offers a variety of amazing dishes. The food was fantastic, we went there for the rooftop patio and it was really nice and clean. Their mago ale was amazing and the... food was extremely tasty as well! I had the fried chicken, and my husband was recommended by the server to try the Guinnessmeatloaf. He was talking about that meatloaf for 2 days after! I tried the onion rings on top and we agreed that it was probablytop 3 onion rings we've ever had. We also got the spinach and artichoke dip that was recommended by the server, which wasabsolutely fantastic. Wow, wow, wow! Churchill's sets new standards in service and shrimp & grits. I was delighted by the creamy sauce on the grits... and the huge prawns were amazing, so much flavor! My partner enjoyed amazing Guinness meatloaf and a wonderful Islay regionScotch. I topped it off with a great cup of coffee and bread pudding with lots of bourbon caramel sauce. This is a really cool spot. The roof top had a really chill vibe and some cool drinks on their menu. Was a nice place to stop... and enjoy the weather up top. The bar area downstairs was cool too. They had live music going on as well. The live music wasamazing. I'm not sure who the girl was that was performing on 8/27 in the early evening, but she was extremely talented. Read more

We really enjoyed the food here. The food and the atmosphere are exactly what you would expect of an English pub. We had the... pretzel as an appetizer and the glazed salmon and the steak and ale pie for mains. They were all delicious but especially thepie, which we thought was better than the ones we had in England! Read more

Quaint English pub. Wonderful atmosphere. You can actually sit and talk to someone at your table and not be screaming at them.... Good staff, excellent service. 24 beers ???? on tap. Surly you can find something to suit you. We had the fried green tomatoesfor an appetizer. Outstanding! I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. Never disappoints. We booked 10 Downing and the rooftop for our wedding! The night couldn’t have been more perfect. Carter took over for Mark... as the event manager and Carter was amazing to work with. He answered every email and put us as a wedding couple at ease andhelped plan a perfect night. We ended up checking the venue out early since we are from out of town and got so the menu tasting- the food there is SO good! We had amazing bar service the night of the wedding and the wait staff was so kind. The roomreally transformed. We ended up having about 80 guests (the room fits 74 so if you need more room - book the rooftop terrace aswell for seating outside). The dance floor and outside bar was so nice. I’d recommend Carter and his team to anyone. Definitely book if you have the room to accommodate ! Read more

Really nice place. Very friendly service. Morgan was very helpful and very pleasant. The roof top bar looks like a place I wanna... be but it was closed for bad weather. Pimento croquettes were new for us. They were delicious. French onion soup was ok. Itsmissing the wow factor with out the cheese melting down the crock or slightly burned cheese top. Read more
