Typical Mexican restaurant style theme and interior. Our waiter was funny, kind, and very helpful. The place was clean and had a... fun, upbeat feel to it. The food was over Americanized. The queso cheese dip was thin and the guacamole had way to much lime init. I had the Speedy Gonzalez, which was not speedy in getting to me. But the food was fairly good. The refried beans were kindabland and the rice was salty. But the chicken enchilada and the chicken taco were good. I asked for a hard shelled beef tacothough and got a soft chicken taco. We sat at the bar (it was a 20 min wait on a Sunday, but it was a holiday weekend, so it's a good sign). We ordered the fish... tacos and mango salmon. Both were very good. A little heavy on the fried fish for the tacos (grilled would have been lighter andadded some flavor, but we'll request that next time and see if they can accommodate). The only issue with the salmon was thatthe grilled asparagus was a little too done (but that could also be that asparagus product has not been that great lately). Thefront of house staff was young and needed a little more training (not the nicest of the bunch), however, or server/bartenderAmber was fantastic and totally earned one star on her own. Its a nice spacious area. The staff is nice and friendly. They describe the size of the food well which is necessary when... deciding between a large and small. And then the food itself is prepared well. Served hot. And had a very good taste. Iwould try it again if I were back in town again for some good Mexican. And the price is very friendly to your wallet. Read more
Good food, great price. Service could have been better. I had to wait for an additional plate and it took a while.
Chips & salsa were spot on. Shrimp tacos were good but needed more added to them for the $. Chimichanga was good but meat dry... needed some seasoning as it was screaming for sauce. Service is little slow so don?t be in a rush. House margarita was just ok.I was shocked as I expected it to be fantastic coming from a nice looking place like this. We were able to walk right in, get a table and the waitress greeted us immediately. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas with... the soft shell tacos, it was very delicious???? and did I mention our food arrived super fast???????? My homegirl ordered thebeef taco bowl and she said it was one of the best she's ever had???? The music was very nice, we song and danced in our seatsthe entire time.
