Great food and a lot of it! Bacon wrapped filet mignon was delicious! The sides menu alone is the best we have encountered... while traveling this week! The green beans were seasoned to perfection. Broccoli was delicious and not overcooked at all!Fried okra is one of my favorites and they did not disappoont! My picky eater said the baked potato was bussin! :) Frenchfries are crinkle cut fries and a nice golden brown and seasoned nicely. Frog legs were on point and gator fingers were alsodelicious! Joleigh, our server, was fantastic! She was attentive and accommodating! Her service only made the great food andexperience the best! Read more

Two of us went with our dog. We were totally welcome with our pup. We sat outside, riverside, with a great view of the... river. Our server, Liz, was excellent. Very friendly and nice. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo, I had Love’s Famous Catfish.Both were delicious. The weather was nice. Even though we sat outside in June, they had a great covered area with fans and itwas quite pleasant. I would go there again next time we are anywhere near Savannah Georgia again. My wife and I had an excellent meal at Love’s on the Ogeechee River today. The very best seafood meal that we’ve had in a... very long time. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was relaxing, even wandering outside after our meal to enjoy sittingon the swinging seat on the lawn. This is our new most favorite restaurant in the Savannah area! Such a fun throw back to old school low country. Great setting on the river, and a comfortable homie atmosphere. Our bartenders... were attentive and conversational. For appetizers we enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller and Crab Cake. The crab cake was almost 100%crab....both were delicious. For entrees we had the Strip Steak, baked potato and broccoli with Parmesan. Very fresh and flavorful seafood with an everyday, homey feel! Our server Amanda helped us to have a wonderful, comfy... experience dinning at Love’s where we were able to experience fresh caught seafood that was not overly seasoned. Faves includethe GRITS, Stuffed Flounder and Crab Chowder! It’s situated right on the water which creates an authentic setting forenjoying fresh seafood. Highly recommend! Read more
